Worst bank ever they literally allowed me to get three charges for $108.24. Sorry for charges and never notified me and they were all back to back and because their mistake. My wife almost lost her car almost lost her cell phones and couldn’t pay our bills, because they told me I had to wait another week just for them to file a dispute I would recommend never ever letting these people have control your money. They are crooks in themselves.

I do not recommend Capital One. I have had Capital One for many many years. However, recently for the first time I lost my Capital One credit card so I went into the app and locked it. Then I called customer service to request a replacement card. However, I had recently changed my name legally and how to requested that my new card reflect my new legal name. They said I would need to upload some documents such as my driver's license to make that change and then a new card with my new name would be sent out to me in 5 to 7 business days. That was 4 months ago. For 4 months. I have been calling Capital One customer service and speaking mostly with people who don't understand English well or don't speak English very well and I have been begging and pleading for them to fix whatever issue they're having. Every time they tell me they cannot accept my uploaded documents but never give a reason why or sometimes they tell me the reason why is because they need the front and back. Even though I sent the front and back of my driver's license more than 30 times I have uploaded it and still they reject it every single time. Not only that they give me a different case number each time. So when I have to call back the next week nobody knows what's going on because they won't keep the same case number every time I get a new one and no one can track what I've been having to deal with for the last 4 months. So I decided to mail in certified mail to Capital One. Certified mail works like this: so you send something via mail via post office and it only gets delivered if someone at that location signs for it and guess what? Someone at Capital One signed for my mail saying that they received the letter that I sent them but guess what customer service doesn't know where that went. Even though someone at their own company, someone at Capital One, an employee of Capital One sign for it saying I received it. But yet nobody knows where it went. And also last week I faxed it. They don't know where that went either. and they are so rude on the phone and they're like ma'am ma'am ma'am we have to verify your name and order to send you a new card and to make a name change on your account and you need to do this and this and I tell them no ma'am I've done this 5000 times for the past 4 months. I'm late to work because I'm on the phone for an hour with them. Every week I work two jobs. I don't have time to call them every single day and sit on the phone for 2 hours. Besides then they transfer me to the fraud department fraud departments like we can't help you. We have nothing to do with this then they they send me to the technical support department and even the technical support department verified because they could see the documents. I have uploaded 5 million times and they said there's nothing wrong with these documents. These documents are clear, legible, good lighting they're like. We don't know why these customer service people are not verifying these documents or not. Acknowledging that you've uploaded the correct documents and just fix the issues for you. They said we don't understand what their problem is so no one will help me. I've been transferred to supervisors to every department. Nobody wants to fix the issue. Nobody at Capital One wants to take accountability for their screw-ups instead. They're blaming me and saying that it's my fault even though technical support verify the documents because they could see the documents I uploaded. Technical support department verified that I'm doing everything correctly. I've uploaded all the correct documents and it's not my issue. It's Capital one's issue and even the fraud department said we don't have an issue. There's no fraudulent activity flagged on your account so all of this falls on the customer support people and the people who are supposed to verify the documents and they should lose their jobs. And furthermore they r

I have been with Capital One for over 30 years..they do deposits really well. I am disabled now and cant get to the bank. They do not help and have never helped if it wasn't a deposit or withdrawal. My accounts historically have been clean..no overdrafts or problems I wanted my nieces to be able to do a transfer for me so I can pay my bills, which I have done in the past when I could get there...I cant now. Their names are on the account and I would supply them with all paperwork needed. No. Capital One does not care about long time customers and this is not the first time. Stay away from this bank if you ever want to do something other than Deposit or withdrawal. You have to give one star in order to place a review, one star says not good...it should say the worse. NO HELP!

The absolute worst experience I have ever had is with Capital one and Frank employee number5656603. Ive waited three weeks for a debit card that they have told me they messed up by not creating. I'm unable to pay most bills without debit card so I had to go buy prepaid cards and hope they accept it which has created fees. They were rude and uncaring and told me they have done all they can do, I still have no card to access my money.

The fraud department will constantly shut down your credit card. This month I paid my $39,000 bill with a different checking account than last month. It was an account I had used before and they confirmed that it was on file. AFTER they deducted the full amount from my checking account, they shut down my card. They said that they were concerned about the ownership of the account, They said that I would have to fax a copy of my bank statement. I pointed out that they had ALREADY DEDUCTED the amount from my checking account (it wasn't a pending transaction - it was completed - and that they had confirmed the account was on file. They refused to budge. They siad it would take 2-3 business days to review my statement after they received it. It is Friday afternoon, which means that I won't have a working credit card until Wednesday or Thursday. I AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT.

Overall i love Capital One Bank because of what they offer. I have the Capital One 360 checking account and i love it. There's no minimum nor monthly fees. Everything you need is either on the Capital One app or website. If you want checks you have to sign in online to get them. The first 50 checks are free and so is the shipping. I also have a Capital One credit card and i love it. If you have questions about your credit/ debit card you can call Capital One and i think they answer the phone seven days a week. Iv'e called on a Sunday and they answered the phone. Also the Capital One app tells you your credit score for free. The app even helps you locate nearby Capital One Banks. I go inside if i'm depositing a lot of money or withdrawing a lot of money. The bank tellers are fast and are very friendly. I love how they also have coin rolls. I save all my coins then deposit it in my bank account. It took me ten years to save $135 in coins. I put all that money in my bank account. I would recommend you open a Capital One Bank account because it's the best bank i know of. If you need help with anything banking or credit card related they are here to help you.

Started off with online bank. Learned that meant bankers in a facility won't help you. Changed to a full service account. Now I get charged for overdrafts the night my direct deposit is pending. Tried to call customer service. Message states 3 minute hold time. Currently at 13 minutes while typing my review. Call was regarding declined charge of $11 even though I have more than enough to cover.
