“In response to a previous review: Why is HEB NOT just another grocery store? Why is it worth it to fight the crowds or (just a thought) time your trip for slower hours like weekday mornings? Here is your answer!1. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips made all day long in the store.2. Bread baked right there in the bakery and sliced to order - Not shipped in frozen and thawed out on the shelf like Walmart.3. The best selection of wines and cheeses outside of a specialty store.4. Clerks who are always friendly and ready to answer questions! This kind of customer service is a lost art form. Thanks HEB!5. “Having lived in California, I have cooked or eaten hundreds of pounds of tri-tip roast. when I saw Santa Maria Tri-tip roast I was really excited. I cooked it as directed which was the same as I cooked Tri-tip in CA...but it was not Tri-tip but a cheap, tough, mostly gristle piece of meat. could not slice it with my sharpest knife. Albertsons butcher shop, please report this to your suppliers.”

I have been very pleased with how helpful several of the technicians have been on these occasions! I really did not expect them to be as helpful as they were. “We don't go in the store very often, so this review mainly pertains to the pharmacy. Excellent quality service and staff... Always friendly and helpful. On this particular instance, we were on the way home from the ER and had a paper prescription for an antibiotic we need filled promptly. The woman who helped us, Michele, and her pharmacist, were both extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. They insisted that we wait, and they filled it for us immediately! Within about 7 or 8 minutes, we had our antibiotic in hand, ready to go. I am so thankful that there are good people still out there in this world who love their job and love helping others. It is situations like this that restore my faith in humanity!”

“I absolutely need to give a shout out to Susie in Photo at the Walgreens/Hudson Oaks location! She is proof that there is still awesome customer service in the crazy, not so friendly sometimes, world we live in. She is genuine and so so sweet. You will leave with your beautiful photos feeling like you just made a new friend, I did! The pictures I submitted for a very simple photo book were not cropped properly (my bad) not only did she call me and alert me with the problem, but when I got there she was patient and took the time to help me organize everything for my precious photo book for my grandson! Everyone there was friendly and extremely helpful! I won't get pictures developed anywhere else! Thank you Susie!”

“Great grocery store. Brookshire's prime beef is the best you'll ever get. It's a big store, but not "supercenter" size... I like that. Their produce is always fresh, good selection of everything, great rewards program, fair prices. I highly recommend.”
