“Our 12 year old cat became very lethargic and stopped eating. We brought him to Lakeway and Dr. Schwab performed some blood tests. She recommended we leave him overnight so he could receive IV fluids and x-rays. The next morning she called to inform us that he had a tumor in his lung. She kept him for the day and continued to give him fluids. I know that he was very well cared for. He came home and was back to his old self for a couple of days and we were able to say our goodbyes to him. Unfortunately, he had to be euthanized the following Monday. I cannot express enough the appreciation we feel for Dr. Schwab and all of the staff we dealt with at the clinic. Dr. Schwab called me several times to provide updates on his condition and I honestly believe she gave us the best gift by allowing us to have him in good spirits for our final weekend with him. He wasn't a typical cat. He was a very deeply loved member of our family. Dr. Schwab and the staff at Lakeway treated him like he was a member of their family too. I couldn't have asked for him to be in better hands at this time in his life. I highly recommend Lakeway Animal Clinic for anyone's pet.”
