This company was quick to insist on my deposit to evaluate the job, and then I had to follow up to receive the estimate, which was modified to significantly higher with no explanation. I tried to reach out to the company 5 separate times leaving voicemails or talking to someone directly and no one ever got back to me. Finally I disputed the charge and of course they contacted me immediately, trying to threaten me with a lawsuit if i didn't pay.

Wow! Fantastic experience with these guys. Jason came out to do a site check on a new dishwasher that I had ordered, and ended up saving me $300 on another project (replacing kitchen sink) in his 20 min visit. He was very professional and had some great tips/advice for me. Really can't say enough good things about this experience. VERY grateful.

Builders Choice is wonderful. I had planned a family gathering when we were still able to gather. My oven went out 2 nights before my family event. Builders Choice took care of us. They found us a beautiful new stove and quickly installed it just in time for me to cook for our family.

Great experience from Kristen in scheduling to job completion. Justin and Tony replaced my 48" built in refrigerator and did an outstanding job. There weren't any stairs involved but they had some tight corners to move the large refrig around without touching any walls or woodwork. I was impressed and I would highly recommend your company in the future.

I chose installation between 7am and 1pm, taking a day off work to have my installation done. It's now 2:45 and when calling, the RUDE "owner" said that they dont always go by the time chosen. They ho by what works best for them. And to top it off they have 6 more installs ahead of mine meaning they wont be here until AFTER I would have gotten off work and gotten home! So now, I have not only missed a day of work for no reason, but I have to find someone to pick up my kid.Terribly unreliable and I'm absolutely shocked Best Buy contracted them!

Damaged my cabinets when installing a vent hood. Then sent someone out to repair who did not repair. When I asked for only a partial refund, they asked me to go get a form notarized for them! Will never use again.

They flooded my house, burned a stove and half of my kitchen cabinets, never covered any damages, insurance they have on file is inactive, stay away from this company, my builder said two pot heads made those installations smoked pot on my backyard, offfered him(builder) a joint. I refused to pay them, stoped the check owner of the company threatened me with filing criminal charges. Total of $127000 dollars of damage done to one of my houses by fire and water.NEVER USE THEM !!!

We had an issue with vent hood installation contractors Ryan Mason from Builder's Choice Installations today, Ryan was very rude and insisted that we did not have enough distance between the vent hood and the cooktop, this distance he insist is 30", but according to the manufacture installation manual it is listed as 24". (see quoted below)"This rangehood requires at least 24" of clearance between the bottom of the rangehood and the cooking surface or countertop."When I measure from counter top (cook top fire source) to our cabinet where vent hood mounting point is 24", but Ryan insisted that measurement should be from the highest point on the cooktop to venthood which is 22", the highest point is not where the fire source is. Ryan threatened us that if we make him install it today he would contact the manufacturer to void our warranty, and if we want it get it installed he will be charging us extra to remove and modify our beautiful cabinet and also the new backsplash we just put in.We are extremely dissatisfied with the Builders Choice Installations regarding their technicians's rudeness and technical incompetence and not completing the work order as requested.
