The staff is always friendly and helpful. The Dr always has a pretty good answer for what is happening with our Pets and can give a good plan of action same day or within a few days.

This place really sucks every time I try to take my dog in there they can't even tell you what why he's itching or whatever without spending a fortune I can never get my dog's medicines because they never forward the prescription or anything like that I'm fed up with them if you take your dog there you're a fool when my dog was spayed there he came home he was bleeding so bad I called them up and said what did you butcher my dog for

Dr Schwab is wonderful and sweet and caring and the staff.. she pulled 13 of my old man's teeth , several were abscessed and he's been in pain for years probably and now he's like a new doggo!! So happy with Lakeway . I searched around for weeks at so many different vets before I found lakeway..

Been a dedicated and loyal customer with multiple pets since 2013. But due to unreasonable and borderline unprofessional office staff will be taking our business elsewhere. Tried to get our new cat into the clinic, but the office manager couldn’t or wouldn’t give us an estimate for his treatment. Hard to believe that this practice couldn’t care for long standing customers…

Top notch care as always. Unfortunately this visit resulted in the peaceful send off of the worlds greatest dog and my closest friend for the past 15 years. By far the worst day of my 53 yrs on earth, completely devastating to me. However I will always find comfort in remembering that those final moments for her and myself were filled with the compassion, support and understanding of the team at Lakeway. I will always be grateful to you all for helping us through our lowest time. Thank you! RIP Peanut

Been taking my pets to this location for years. Friendly staff. Exceptional service. Reasonable pricing. We took our little Maven to get fixed there yesterday and she’s acting like she didn’t just go through major abdominal surgery. I highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for one.

I messaged these folks last week to schedule an appointment because my 11 Week old puppy was still having worms after I was told that my puppy had already been given dewormer by this vet. I didn’t ask him for anything else, but I’ll go there to get dewormed because their first dewormed didn’t work, all of a sudden $257
Did not pay it and now they’re threatening me to call the police because I did not ask for all these things they did to my puppy and I’m brand new to dog ownership or puppy ownership if you will. Scheduling an appointment for dewormer 257 if I was a dummy. Use somebody else, not these crooks.

We used to go to Dr. Schwab for veterinary care until we fully grasped her backwards ethics for pet parents; it's all business for her. Here's our experience:
To begin, our dog was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was our foster and first seen by her rescues vet. But I wanted a 2nd opinion and went to Lakeway. Schwab just looked at our x-ray records and simply said, yup it's cancer then handed me a hefty bill all within 5 mins of almost $100. No physical exam was done. I left feeling venerable and desperate so I paid her without contest and our dog died a week later.
Then, I gave her another shot years later... This time took our cat to be seen for palliative management (pain meds), she looked at him and felt his body(exam) then said we needed to do blood work; and scheduled us for a follow up. I said no blood work but we do want to do an x-ray bc he was so sick, dying and we already knew his diagnosis; just wondered how far along it was. Prior to arrival of his follow up, I called the office restating we didn't want blood work just the x-ray verifying its the same day the xray tech comes to their office. It was assured and set. We arrived for the 1 week follow up and low and behold no x-ray tech was there so once again she just looked at him and said yep he's still sick, here's the bill $100... He also died soon there after.
Attention VETERINARIAN: Cats DO NOT like to travel, esp dying, sick ones. So to extort us under false pretenses to arrive to your clinic just to add on visit fees is low and completely unethical. She already knew his despaired condition and that we weren't wanting anything besides an x-ray to monitor his prognosis. But kept us on schedule rather than notify and be honest about no tech coming in and risk us canceling our appointment... Just to get one last payment before he passed. No care in the world about her patient or how difficult it was to get him in a kennel, much less drive the long bumpy ride in his deteriorated condition. He cried the whole way there. Shameful and greedy at best.
Yes... she's personable, knowledgeable and we liked that she did everything in front of us instead of taking our pets to the back... BUT if you don't put the patient first and instead try to capitalize on the pet parents in vulnerable situations for business profit. There was No remorse or empathy so that is No good vet of ours. Bridgeway is there sister location, also a no go. You've been warned.

This was our vet for the past few years but no longer. My dog was attacked by coyotes a few months ago and in desperate shape, so I brought rushed him in as they say they do emergency care. I arrived as they opened only for the front desk to say that there wouldn't be a vet there that day and that it would be best for me to take him to a sister location 1.5 hours away in traffic despite me saying that my dog was deathly hurt to the point that I needed help carrying him so I didn't injure him further.
They assured me that this sister location was prepared for the severity and would be best because they already had his file, so I drove there as fast as I could. My dog was going into shock by the time we arrived. When she saw him the vet was shocked and appalled herself as the Lakeway location had only informed them that he had a minor bite and she was not equipped to handle a case of this severity.
The Lakeway workers told them this false story without even seeing him to know how severe it was. They cared more about brand loyalty than saving my dog's life. The second location did what they could, but were not equipped or prepared for such a trauma and ended up sending him home with internal bleeding and he passed away 12 hours after he got home. There was a 24hr emergency vet trauma center 10 minutes away that they could have told us to bring him to instead of sending a dog with over 20 bites 1.5 hours away to a small unprepared clinic if they had cared more about him than brand loyalty.
