I initially wasn’t planning to write a negative review, but unfortunately the circumstances of my situation have led me no other choice.
I came in to buy a boat, and there was several problems that arose with it after taking it out on the test drive. I was trying to buy this boat for about 2 weeks for the 4th of July, but the process was such a pain trying to get them to fix the boat. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it and I needed it by a certain date. They made me sign papers before I even got to test drive it. After they tan my credit, effectived it, and that’s when they finally took it for a test drive. After that, they told me to come back the next day. I came back, still wasn’t fixed. Then they asked me to come back a week later and it was ready. I came back, the boat STILL had the same problems. Then they said they could fix it that same day, so we waited 4 hours, took it to lake Conroe again, and nothing was fixed so this is when I decided a to get a refund. They told me okay, and that I would get it the next 1-4 days into my account. I waited a week, never got my money back. I contacted the sales agent regarding my refund he wasn’t answering my calls, or my texts. When I finally got ahold of him, he apologized saying it was because he was busy and he forgot and that I would get my money back the next day. Still waited another week and got absolutely nothing. I reached back out threatening to come back inside, and he said he had a check for me “right in front of him” and was going to mail it. I asked him for picture proof and what do you know? Ghosted me again. Absolutely nothing. I had to go through the annoying process of disputing with my bank because of them. I would never EVER recommend ANYONE to buy a boat here.
- p.s. cherry on top of it all, I when I was driving behind the boat truck following behind them to test drive the boat, a huge rock flew and cracked my windshield… should have taken that right then and there it was a sign to not do business with these unprofessional lying crooks…

Andrew Vandagriff is literally the best person I’ve ever worked with on anything I’ve ever done. He is very experienced and provides all of the information you could ever need to make an educated decision. Any company would be lucky to have Andrew as their point person for the public!

Worked with Jason in Willis when looking for a new tri-toon. He was able to point me in the right direction and we can't be happier with our new "Pop Pop Barge". Jason knows his stuff from pontoons to anything fishing. I recommend him highly!

Absolutely amazing customer service. We are going home with a boat today. As first time buyers Working with salesmen Rudy Peralez was a breeze. He made answering questions and the buying process seamless. Definitely going back when it’s time to look at a new RV.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had a very good experience dealing with the salesman and managers at Ron Hoover in Willis, Texas. I had been shopping boats on the Internet for over a month and the sales person that assisted me in my purchase was outstanding.

I'm going out of my way to write this review they have been so bad. I have some friends that bought an RV from them and they have had nothing but problems with their RV since day 1. Since then Ron Hoover has continued to give them the run around with fixing the problems all 3 times they brought the camper in for the repairs. Kept them out of their camper for a month at one point and fixed nothing in that time. Save yourself the headaches and go somewhere else.

Nothing but FANTASTIC things to say about our experience with Nick Gilman, and the Ron Hoover family. We were in the discovery stage to purchase an RV. We came to Ron Hoover North Houston to "kick tires" and rule out travel trailer models we thought we were ready to buy. Walking in the door, the vibe was low key and how can they help us. Nick listened to our ideas then provided options we had not thought of. And this is our third RV so we thought we knew it all. Fast track to the Houston RV show, attending to shop the competition, walk through other models WE thought we wanted, and guess what? Who do we see? Yes, our N. Houston family, Jose, Gil, Nick AND, we purchased the model type Nick recommended - not the model we walked in to actually see in person. And we did another first - we "Rang the Bell" denoting our adoption into the Ron Hoover family, and wrote a contract at the RV show instead of waiting a few months. From THE Ron Hoover sons on site caring for us at the show, to the N. Houston team we were already working with before the show, the entire team at this dealership is top notch. We move to Zach in service, are provided upgrade and install options, then to Finance to work with Gil on bringing our own bank to the table, to a celebratory beverage and a date to pick up our new mobile party house - actual unit not yet seen. THIS is trust, and never once did we question if the unit we walked through at the show would match or beat the model in route to N. Houston. The unit arrives at N. Houston two days later. We walk through it and it is perfect. Again, NOT the unit we had for months researched and planned to purchase from a competitor. That walk through with our service advisor Tiffaney was enlightening as our service truly starts after the sale. Tiffaney and Olivia walked us through our rig, set up a 6 week follow-up to bring the rig in for an inspection and told us to roll it out, test everything and let them know of any issues. Truly, an exceptional experience and care from first foot in the door to contract to the inspection that followed in April. Amazed at the service, integrity and the feeling of family this hardworking group of people give. Pete and I want to thank you all. Know that we both are Forever fans! Now, about that boat..... :)

Boat wasn’t what the picture described, Jason the sales guy was very unprofessional, I drove 3.5 hours to b on time and had to wait over an hour to b seen and not even by Jason the sales guy I had been doing busy with, I was told the customers before me showed up to their appointment late is why I was put on the back burner, they weren’t working by appointments I believe I was lied to, I was told the boat was being polished up starting at 9am and at 5pm it was still filthy, the ladder on my trailer was installed improperly and leaning bad to the left, I was told if I had a impact that I could fix it once I got home, after spending 75k they wanted me to go home and wrk on my brand new boat trailer, my headrest had indentions in it that look terrible and can’t b fixed unless replaced, the boat was filthy when I left hours after I waited around, just a all around bad experience, finance guy was professional but the rest not so much, typical I never leave a review like this but I’m just hoping the next customer doesn’t experience what I did.
