I absolutely love the YMCA it's the best place to workout and relax when you're done plus all year around, option to swim! One more thing some insurance companies will help pay for your membership as well so whatever you're waiting for stop and go get your YMCA pass today!!!

I was very happy with this place until I smelled some sort of smoke which I thought was incense. I told the staff because I have asthma and it was being triggered by that smoky smell. They felt it might of been someone vaping, which either way I'm not paying a membership to get an asthma attack at a place that should not have any type of smoke smh. The staff response was "don't go back in there" obviously I couldn't but nobody went in to check what was the smell I had complaint about and that's a shame. As if they were soooo busy doing anything other than flirting and gossiping.
Really considering to cancel my membership over this nonsense.

I was disappointed that they didn't enforce the lap swim policy when I went. I saw kids swim in the lap lanes as they were doing swim lessons. I tried to go around the people but more people came in so I left

It's the first time in my life that I've met people like this with a worse method for teaching children to swim
first of all the course lasts 30 minutes in which half of the time they sit by the pool shaking and watching the teacher who one by one takes them and makes them do 1 lap of swimming
I'm from Italy (Rome)
There the child is constantly in the water to learn to swim with 2 teachers for 5 children
so in a short time they already have knowledge on how to move and swim
They don't waste time or money looking and shaking by the pool...
You are 20 years BEHIND
CHANGE YOUR METHOD

This is my Y of choice in town. Mainly because it is not usually crowded. It has all the things I need and more. I would have given it 5 stars, but the equipment is a little behind the Bartley branch in technology, but that might be why it is less crowded and why I like it. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I got a 1 mo membership to the Wichita Falls, TX YMCA so I could continue my daily water aerobics. The facility is 1st class even though it was built over 100 years ago. The instructor was fantastic and very high energy. The exercises were different than my NY group but very thorough. Really looking forward to continuing during my visit.

I love the Y, it’s a great place for the whole family. It’s never crowded when i go and everyone has been very friendly and kind. They have everything you need for a good workout. They have the best weight room and I love the pool.

Lifeguards are great. The open swim is best on Friday evenings because the whole pool is available for parents and kids.

Came to this YMCA for the pool so when I found out they had an Aquatics class I was excited . Little did I know how awesome the class would be. Tye teaches the class and its was just what I need. A mix of a challenging workout and recovery session. If your looking for a challenge in the pool I would definitely check out her class. Great community vibes and very inclusive And great Music
