“I had the good fortune of stumbling across this place, after no luck at English color, and O’Reilly’s, both on Jacksboro hwy which no longer carry Imron paints (goes by Axalto now), and trying other places on-line and not getting anywhere quick, I was in a jamb. I tried the old Armies Body Craft Supply phone number on a google search, called that number and got J&J paints which now owns it. Talked to Shawn Dollar on the phone, gave him the paint codes, he immediately found me two of the three paint colors I needed. Came up there first thing Monday morning, Chris Dollar waited on me, he had found my third color from the notes that Shawn took down on a Friday. I couldn’t believe my luck, I had been trying to get these paints for some time. It was just a small order, only needed a few ounces of each color, Chris recommended the reducer to use, along with showing me how a clear coat in a two part aerosol can works and what paint ratio to use. What a knowledgeable and helpful group, and was great to see the Dollar bunch is still around, Gary was there too, dealing with another customer on the phone. As I left, Shawn came out, got me some mixing sticks and paint filters, which I had completely forgot. Mine was such a small order, I imagine some places would not have even bothered. This place has every kind of material you need for your auto paint needs, it’s pretty much the way Penny Dollar left it, and is still a well run place.”
