Everyone here was super nice but they got my prescription wrong. I had to order my glasses elsewhere because they didn’t accept my insurance to order them. Glasses came in and I couldn’t see. The company I ordered them from sent them off to get tested and confirmed they were made correctly. Went to another office to get a second exam. Brookstone had the “sphere” number on my prescription 2 points higher than it really was for both eyes. I am now out of money for the glasses (no refund since made correctly) and for the 2nd office visit. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years with yearly exams and never once had my prescription wrong until now. Very upsetting.

Called to get an appointment to see an opthamologist and after setting my appointment theres not one in house as adcertised... becautious of this place.. they only have optometrists. And also they charge a fee for new patients.

To the location in ***** **.....save your money and go to a place that cares! The ************* location may be better not sure but the ******** location stinks, bad first impression, bad attitude and bad service. They messed up my husbands prescription safety glasses, so when he went to pick up she tried telling him we had to tweak the prescription some to get the lenses to fit into the frames he chose. Those were blurry and he couldn't see at all and then they told him he would need to pick out a new frame for those lenses and they'll send back for a redo. I called to tell them the 3rd party they hired to do there glasses should never have to tweak someone's prescriptions and she proceeded to tell me that everyone does it, ummmm no they don't I do medical for a living and the prescription is made specifically for you. Then tried to tell me it was because of the frame, I proceeded to tell her if they ever want to change someone's prescription as a provider they need to call you guys the eye doctor and then it is your job to contact the consumer to let them know the lenses will not fit the frames you chose you will have to select new frames. Then she wants to be sarcastic I'm guessing and says you will believe what you want but everyone does it. Some just friendly advice from one person to the other go to some place that cares about you, your service if you don't care about what your doing get out of that profession!! Brookstone definitely does not care about you or your well being.

To the location in Bowie Tx.....save your money and go to a place that cares! I’ve been a patient at Brookstone Eye Center for 15 years and I moved about 2 hours away. I will always make the drive to come see Dr. Kisner. I was having a major eye discomfort and was concerned and Dr. Kisner took time out of her day on Christmas Eve to come and relief my discomfort and concern that I was having. Dr. Kisner is such a personable doctor and is very helpful in breaking down the issue that was going on with my eye. They will take amazing care of you and your needs!

We have been seeing Dr. Kisner for three years. I'm so impressed with Dr. Kisner and her staff! The doctor did a very thorough exam and she noticed that my son had some irregular things going on with his eyes today and recommended we see a cornea specialist. Her staff was so helpful and took the time to help us find a specialist that will take our insurance. They really truly care about their patients. I highly recommend them!

I HAVE BEEN LEGALLY BLIND FOR OVER 20 YEARS. MY LAST PRESCRIPTION DONE 2 YEARS AGO IN OHIO MY PRESCRIPTION WAS 175-400. I WAS HELPED IN FLORIDA BY THE DIVISION OF THE BLIND FOR 2 EYE SURGURIES, & IN OHIO I WAS WITH OHIOANS WITH DISABIBLITES BECAUSE OF MY SIGHT. I EVEN GOT A BLIND CANE FROM THEM & SPECIAL AIDS FOR IN THE HOME. I WAS SLATED TO START WORK AT BEACON LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED, & WAS SENT TO BROOKSTONE TO GET AN EXAM & FILL OUT THEIR FORM. DR KINSER SAID I HAD 20/60 SIGHT & THEY DOUBLE BILLED BEACON LIGHTHOUSE & MY INSURANCE. BEWARE USING THESE PEOPLE.
