I am a Licensed Social Worker who attempted to send a MEDICARE referral to this agency. I was met with tactlessness from the moment the phone was answered. This agency offers no PT or OT services, yet advertises as such: "At Home Care LLC was recognized and certified in 1997 by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as one of modern home-health care agencies which are scientifically measured and assessed to have high-quality home-health care services for promoting health and improving the quality of life." If they are prepared to be this unprofessional with a referral source, how will they treat my patient? I highly recommend you utilize another Home Health Agency. As Ruth stated on the phone, "there are plenty of other agencies to choose from, we aren't the only hat in town." True, so I found a quality Home Health Agency that will serve my patient in a compassionate and professional manner.
