Stopped to grab something to eat while traveling. We were eating in the van before we hit the road again and the security came to run us off for “loitering”. We bought fuel and food and weren’t even allowed to sit in the van for 10 min to eat.

I went to h.e.b. here in wharton, I made the deli @ 7:45 pm... the lady wouldn't serve me...She told me the deli was close. if the deli closes before 8:00 then say so, don't have people coming in before 8:00, then not serving then, It was 15 min. Til 8:00 pm and i couldn't get service....CHANGE THE TIME!!!!

Terrible customer service, refused to sell alcohol because I was in the presence of someone they assumed was a minor. I came back later by myself and they still refused to sell to me, both times without even checking our IDs. I had my ID ready for proof of age and a debit card under the same name but they wouldn’t budge from their initial stereotype judgement. Not friendly at all, which sucks because I love HEB but I will never shop at this location again.
