Just be careful that you don't install your holster upside down like I ingeniously did. It won't work that way, even though it might look like it could work.I'll just add that these things think slower than a computer that was built in 1975. You'd think that for as much as they charge for these things, they'd put more than the bare minimum hardware inside. I don't have time to sit around waiting for this dopey thing to finally go OH THIS BUTTON?!?!?

I’m still confused why anybody would buy an omnitracs product. Worst “computer” ever, I have one of the touchscreen ones in my truck and it routinely takes 10-15 to get started. I can understand shutting itself off so as not to drain battery power but taking 5 minutes to boot up and another 5-10 minutes before the touchscreen is even functional is ridiculous. Why after booting up does the touchscreen not immediately work? Oh well it gave me time to write this review

As discussed with support (Case # 04062189)poor programming choice to have an “internal clock” that cannot be seen by the driver. That’s vital information we should be able to see!

Forward looking company that is recognizing what works and what doesn't work from the past leadership. Under new management, they are striving to shift the culture towards an employee focused business model. With great initiatives that are promoting diversity and inclusivity, it feels great to work for a company that values who you are as a person. You truly feel they are dedicated to your career growth, personal development, and work-life balance.

I have tried to setup an account for 7 weeks with this company. Finally I get it setup despite many unreturned phone calls and unreturned emails. I find out half of the devices I’m using don’t work. The technical support is weak, when you can get through to them (often 40 minute wait times). They have an option to leave your number and they call you back. I have done that twice and the second time the call disconnected as soon as they called me back. They claim I’m using older technology so I buy all new units. Products were supposed to be received 3 days ago, but haven’t arrived (despite next day shipping). We call the company and are being ghosted by the sales reps. No return phone calls and nobody who wants to take an initiative to fix this.My fleet was completely shut down due to a technical glitch the middle of last week. Now they are grounded again, with no plan in sight to get it rolling again. I am suffering 10s of thousands of dollars in lost profits and it doesn’t seem to matter to Omnitracs.I have emailed the CEO, who seems comfortable enough emailing his client base. We will see if he is willing to take initiative to fix what should be a normal course of business - getting a new customer. For any new potential clients, I recommend looking elsewhere first. I certainly wish I had.

I had the good fortune to work with Omnitracs for more than three years. This is a company doing innovative things and a clear leader in the fleet management space. I had the opportunity to work with talented marketing team members including Tara Cellinese, Jim Gardner and Kimberly Smiley, and greatly benefited from the experience. Their product is the best in the business and the company continues to grow and thrive.

Omnitracs is one of the best companies to be working for. The future here looks very promising especially when you have an amazing project to work on. People are very encouraging and enthusiastic and I learned a lot from the experienced developers. They do a lot of fun events too to steam off the load and I find find that perfectly balancing. I have learnt a lot being at Omnitracs.

Worst Place to work with. Joined on a "contract to hire" role by resigning a full time role. Lot's of promises before joining and around 5 existing employees spoke to me during in-person interview and tried to sell the role. Got convinced and joined, same day the hiring manager resigned or let go. With in 3 weeks of my stay with them i saw most of the staff in HR leaving. Originally gave road map for long term goals and in a day every thing changed and they are starting to act as if there is a hiring freeze. I was told that there is not work due to hiring freeze.unethical, unprofessional company and they whole team is run by bunch of jokers. Some one looked a future here is giving this review in 3 weeks fully upset an have no place to go after resigning from a full time roe.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Omnitracs has the worst customer service. They know how to charge people for ELD but they are so confused what solution needs to be provided to the customer. Unprofessional and untrained people working in there call center. There is no value for clients. They need to learn professionalism from keeptrukin. My company has been using both Keeptruckin and Omnitracs and we felt like moving out our business to keep trucking. I have never got a right resolution from Omnitracs, they are rude, disconnecting calls and when you give them to call again then you have to stay in the queue for 30-45 min and start explaining again. I have a list of cases in last two months where I have to contact them at least more than 2 times.
