Fast and efficient. Did a good job repairing a side mirror on my Honda odyssey. Was very flexible scheduling and felt well taken care of.

This is not an honest shop anymore. The front desk guy tried to finesse my Carmax warranty without understanding what was covered and ended up costing me $800 extra. He is a fast talking salesman pushing unnecessary services. This place used to be decent until 2022/23…avoid even if it sounds like a bargain.

Eric’s was great! They got me in same day, were very clear about recommended repairs and costs. They were also easy to work with even when I chose to not move forward with all repairs and let me pick what services
I wanted. I will definitely return.

These people know nothing about cars. Last September, during a rainstorm, my car's engine was flooded, burning out the alternator. The first thing the mechanic said, in his illiterate hick accent, was: "Water don't cause no damage to alternators, ma'am."
Use Google, sir! The FIRST thing that comes up when you google "water" and "alternator" is how water destroys alternators.
These people also significantly overcharge compared to other auto mechanics in the area.
Please be careful, and take your car elsewhere.

Went in to the Kirby Drive location to complete a service I had declined on a previous oil change. Also had a hub cap fall off and purchased a replacement online. I wasn’t able to get it on myself and the guys were gracious enough to lend a hand for no additional charge.
The team is always pleasant, professional and fair. Have been coming here for years. Really appreciate the prompt, consistent service. Thank you Eric’s Car Care Rice Village!

Every time that I’ve needed auto work done, Eric’s Car Care has been great. If there are different options, like when I needed my tires replaced, they always explain the different options, and they try to help you find what you actually need instead of trying to push you towards whatever is most expensive. I’ve found them to be a trustworthy business and plan to take my car there for all of my auto work in Houston.

I’m amazed by thier customer care.
Came in with my BMW 328iXdrive number plate bolt thread stripped issue and Hani and team were incredibly helpful. They can be assured that they have a customer in me as long as I’m living in Houston :)
Thanks again team.!

Mostly a good experience. Sal, the owner, was very helpful and got my repairs done in record time. However, if you’re a woman getting repairs done alone, I would bring a friend. When I was picking up my car, Hani at the desk made some unnecessary comments about how women always hit curbs (this was not related in any way to my repairs) and he knows this because he has sisters. Didn’t affect the quality of the repairs, just rude.

Our experiences with Eric’s car care initially were good. The salespersons seem friendly and easy going. They are a bit more expensive than dealership, but we would pay that for the convenience. However, our experience today shows a clear problem with the diagnostic team, sales team, or both.
We had an oil change with them in Sep 2022, where they said our break pad is 10-15% and needs to be replaced. I was fairly pregnant and soon to give birth, and we wanted to wait until it starts squeaking during breaking to change the break pad.
Recently, we brought the car in for a routine oil change. We received an estimate after 4hrs when I called them back to check on my car. Then they sent an estimate with only pictures and color symbols with no descriptions. I had to call in again and they finally sent one with description so we can understand the issues. However, in the two estimates, the first one sent said our break pad and rotor is red, which needs to be changed. The second estimate didn’t not include that. In fact, I had to check with the sales person all the red items line by line since it is discrepant. The sales person assured me the break pad and rotor is ok and does not need to be replaced.
A week after the oil change, we started to hear squeaking noises. So naturally we called in to get an estimate since we were just there and on one of the recent estimate plus an estimate from 1.5 yr ago both said it’s something that needs immediate attention.
The sales person insisted that I need to pay another diagnostic fee, since they did not find anything wrong with the break pad when I was there 10 days prior. When I told them that I saw the red sign on the first estimate they sent, they denied again. They also suggested I must be looking at an old report from 1.5 year ago where they recommended the break pads/rotor to be changed. They then said they do not want to put their workers to assess the car just so we can “price shop” especially since we clearly did it last time and went elsewhere. When I told her we never change the pads, she didn’t offer any solution or acknowledging her assumptions.
This experience does highlight a clear problem in diagnosis, where they either diagnosed it incorrectly 1.5 year ago or most recently. It also shows that the sales person does not listen to their customers and are quick to challenge instead of working to find a solution.
Update: The manager contacted me the next day to investigate the issue and offered ways to remediate the situations. We really appreciate his sincerity and are so glad to see they are responsive to customers!
