We had an incredible stay at Hotel Viata! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Chris, who checked us in, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His warm and welcoming attitude set the tone for our entire stay. The service was top-notch, and the hotel itself was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Chris, and the entire team for making our stay so special!

Chris provided a wonderful welcome to Hotel Viata after a long drive to Austin. Our room is comfortable and well appointed. The shower is amazing. We are now relaxing on the lovely bar patio. Enjoying a lovely Texas dusk. Will definitely come back.

Bought a day pass cabana for the pool, wasn’t staying at the hotel just trying out a new spot. Incredible value compared to some of the other options around. The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown, completely reasonable, easy drive. The pool gets full sun all day long in August. Because it’s up in the hills a nice breeze blows across the water and the patio all day. The clientele are pleasant and respectable. They ban speakers. I don’t even want to leave this review because you California scrubs are going to ruin it. But Cody the bartender/pool tender/vibe maintainer was killing it completely solo on a Saturday so if you do come don’t be a bum tip my guy.

Nice hotel. Found this hotel on Priceline and booked for a decent price on a Sunday night. Safe area, parked with a U-Haul trailer with no issues in their garage. Used the pool which was okay, it’s a nice space but water could use some cleaning. The room was cute, the bed was comfy. Dinner at the hotel was nice. Only downsides: I was sent a bill after check out for a resort fee (I’m used to paying those upfront at check in?), and also you can hear other doors opening/closing quite loudly from inside your room. But overall it was a nice stay.

If I could give a million stars I would! My husband & I came for a little staycation from Houston & this place did not disappoint. Chris & Marian at the front desk are angels. Chris made our excellent stay even more enjoyable with all the ways he went above & beyond to take care of us. Every staff member, amenity, & feature is lovely. We will definitely be back!

My fiance and I spent a night at The Viata with our dog back in July and we had such a great experience. We love how dog welcoming they are, they even have treats and little dog boutique gifts in the lobby- she was very grateful for the snacks. We wanted to stay at the hotel because we were considering having our wedding reception at the Laurel and wanted to see if it was worth staying at the hotel during the weekend. When we reserved the room, we were presented the option to have a bottle of wine or non alcoholic beverage upon arrival. We selected non-alcoholic since we are both sober and do not drink. When we entered the room there was a bottle of wine. We called down to front desk to let them know we’d like to switch it out for the non-alcoholic since it May have been an oversight. The front desk clerk Andy Was SO attentive and more than apologetic- which he didn’t need to be. He immediately brought us a bottle of pellegrino and offered us several non-alcoholic beverages to choose from in the hotel lobby fridge- which was so thoughtful. The room was spacious and had such a unique boutique vibe, we loved it all. After we got home and discussed our options, we decided to book the Laurel for our reception and when inquiring about renting a room for the weekend so we didn’t have to travel far, Andy was there at the front desk and remembered us and was so accommodating! He booked us a a suite to stay in for our wedding weekend and made special arrangements to make sure our reservation will remain untouched. I own a business and quality customer service is something I look for when patron any establishment and the quality of care exceeded my expectations. We are so excited to spend our most memorable weekend at this hotel and know we will be WELL taken care of! Thank you for the authentic and genuine care you give to your guests!

The on-site restaurant surprised us with its delicious fare and impeccable service, further adding to the enjoyment. A picturesque view of the rolling hills and trees provided a touch of tranquility, solidifying this hidden gem as a place I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to fellow travelers. For the younger set, the inviting pool offered endless entertainment.

Hotel Viata, is a hidden gem in Austin. Location provides a quiet and comforting stay.
Everything about the Hotel was excellent from when I first stepped in the front door everyone greeted me with a smile and offered me their assistance with anything I may need.
Rooms were large and so comfortable, I didn't want to leave.
Bar and restaurant were excellent, offering up a wide variety of options.
Hotel Viata will be my Go to place whenever visiting Austin in the future!!!
Rooms: Rooms were very large and comforting, everything I needed was provided.
Safety: Location is tucked away on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is just you and the hotel, extremely cozy.

It’s Our 3rd time staying here.
?????
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Viata in Austin, Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly front manager, Cris. Their exceptional service and attention to detail truly made my stay remarkable.
The hotel itself is a hidden gem nestled among the trees, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hillside. The blend of Italian elegance and Texas charm creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping prosecco on the patio or lounging by the sparkling pool, you’ll feel like you’ve escaped to a holiday abroad.
The spacious and cozy accommodations, complete with complimentary wine, added to the overall charm. And let’s not forget the delectable Northern Italian fare served at the onsite restaurant – a true culinary delight!
Hotel Viata is more than just a place to stay; it’s a lifestyle experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin. Thank you, Cris, and the entire Hotel Viata team, for making my stay so memorable!

Honest review: The room was clean and it’s quiet. But as you can see it’s dated and in dire need of an update / refresh.
The staff were really awesome and friendly. No issues with the staff and really with our vacation. I will still recommend.
