“Secret Oktober is a staple of Austin and I have been coming here for years for all the dark or bright clothing and accessories I want for my wardrobe. There is such a diverse range of styles here that it is worth you coming to check out for yourself. From socks, hose/tights, jewelry, shirts, dresses, and jackets they have it all here. The sizing ranges too from smaller to even 2-3X sizes too which makes me super happy. Not everything is going to be on the larger size but take your time when you are here and look through the racks. There is something that will catch your eye. This is Secret Oktober's new spot located on Menchaca that shares a coffeeshop, music venue, a bookshop, and even a bicycle spot all within the same shopping area. It is in the perfect spot to park and walk around to visit the other shops. Super happy to welcome them to South Austin!”

“Love this store (I use online since don't live in Austin). Beautiful, simple, well-priced jewelry. I've ordered several pairs of earrings and wear them often - I love how lightweight they are. Recently ordered several bracelets. Two were a link too small - I called & no problem. They immediately sent me new ones while concurrently I returned the ones that ran too small for me. I received both a call and a card as follow up to make sure I was satisfied. Will continue to shop with this woman-owned company. Beautiful jewelry and great customer service”

“I needed some coffee on a Sunday afternoon & happened upon Brother Friend. We were greeted by Sunny, the shop dog who can also lead you to the coffee area.
My husband and I had a great time chatting with everyone. Even though it was our first time, they made us feel more like friends than customers.

“Great, one of a kind, amazing place to visit. They are the small American Veteran Owned Businesses you feel good supporting through purchasing amazing products. You will not find more comfortable shirts or shorts. I have 4 shirts I bought from them in 2011 and I can still wear them. Neck is not loose nor are there holes in the arm stitching. Seriously, you can buy anything from this store and know you will be happy with the product and who you bought it from.”
“We could have spent all day in this small shop!! The owner and staff were super cool to talk to while we shopped. It was neat to see the various clothing from different times and try things on that we would wear today. There was a nice selection of jewelry and accessories as well. Everything was reasonably priced. I'd recommend coming here if you like unique things and want to find some cool pieces for your wardrobe.”
“The building is outstanding both inside and out and is a feast for the eyes. They have a tailor on site which is great because if you're paying the kind of money this place charges you may as well go the whole way and get a perfect fitting outfit.The clothing was well done and the styles were fitting for what's trendy now but my wife and daughter felt the prices were far too high, I didn't mind spending the money but they felt they could get more for less elsewhere so that's what we did.So while not a five star for me if your into this brand and price doesn't matter compared to value then it's a great place.”

“We had an appointment this weekend at league of rebels. They were very nice even though we were 30 minutes late due to issues missing the bus. This is a very high end location. I felt very taken care of and could see there were many options for both off the rack suits or custom. Although we did not make a decision, we felt the service was excellent. The location is under a bit of construction outside but they are open!”

“I LOVE this boutique. Not only do I love this darling boutique but so do my girls. It has a children’s section and my girls love to check out all the fun things they carry. I love just about everything in this store. Their clothing is so cute, they have home decor, and they carry one of my favorite artists, Jan Barboglio. This is also my “go-to” store for gifts. I highly recommend checking out this super fun and very friendly store.”
