Entry $5 . Hard pack trails with bird feeding trails. Good parking. I found better places for birding.

The lady running the entrance was super kind and seemed to really enjoy her job. She told us the history of Frontera Audubon and the historical house that sits on the property. Lots of lizards this time of year! However they don’t put out bird feed on Sundays so we didn’t see many birds but it was fun regardless. It is mostly run off of donations and fundraising and the some of the upkeep is taken care of by local high school volunteers. One of the ponds was all dried up because they ran out of irrigation water to keep it full but the other three were full and we saw turtles ducks, and cranes. Feeding the animals is not currently allowed. It is a wonderful little forest-y nature walk! I loved it and will definitely go back! Also college students get a two dollar discount from the $5 entrance fee which is nice.

Amazing place to watch/find birds/lizards and other wildlife. I was so lucky to see 3 baby armadillos during my visit as well. Such a great oasis for wildlife! Lots of shade for hot sunny days as well.

This place was on my to do list - I've heard great things about the birding there and wanted to also see the butterflies - but be aware they are closed on Mondays and are only open a few hours on Sundays. So I never got a chance to visit.

A nice little green space inside the city. The site isnt very big but there are some nice trails and it's a great place to bird. You can find a number of vultures roosting in the trees, chachalacas running around, and the occasional parrots flying over.

Very beautiful experience with the different kind of birds also our Catholic retreat ment. The sound of the water falling from there, the birds singing, the squirrels running with the seeds, everything was so beautifully, we have this nature in our city and we have yo enjoy what God has given us. Definitely I will comeback again to get the family membership.

We went to this place 2/7/21 .We are visiting from out of state and the web site shows this as a very interesting place. We were very disappointed in this park .We found the trails (dirt paths) poorly marked. We saw weeds and a few cactus. The only birds we saw were Turkey Vulchers. It was a waste of time and the $8.00 we paid to get in.If you are in the area and want to see some birds and like to hike on gravel marked paths. Go to the State Park a few miles away. We saw several different birds and several different kinds of plants and trees..
