Great experience. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They even helped load up the meat that we ordered. The only negative is that I wish they were closer to Pampa!

My husband is a big hunter. We have used this company for years. They have excellent service and affordable prices.

DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE! I was charged $126 for 12.8 pounds of wild pig sausage, $22 for the one box it was packaged in. I had asked about the charges up front and the lady didn't tell me about the skinning fee but wrote it one the order sheet after I left.

I have been pondering about making a post for several months. I understand this is a small family run business, but I also know that small businesses have alot of competition, that are willing to take their business from them. With that being said, you would think that their business would be run as top notch as possible! For the first time ever, my husband and I decided to purchase a beef, and go in half with another couple when it was processed. The beef was purchased from a local ranch, and the said ranch chose to use A&K Processing in Wellington. We were told the beef would hang for 21 days, and that it would be cut accordingly, and packaged accordingly to how our cut sheet was filled out. That would be great if that was actually what was going to happen. I could be wrong on the exact dates, but I am pretty sure the beef was dropped off the 26th of February and on the 10th of March we were called that our beef was ready to be picked up. That is a total 12 day time frame! What happened to the 21 day hang time? Not only that, when we received our boxes of meat and began to unload them into the freezer, we realized that we didn't have a single package of T-Bones, that we specially listed to get. When we got our meat, it was after business hours, so we had to wait to call A&K until the next morning. My husband is the one that made that call. He spoke with the male owner over the phone and explained what we ordered, and what we recieved. I have you know, my husband was called a liar, and the gentleman wanted to set up an appointment time to come out to our house, and go through our freezers. He told my husband there is no way they made that mistake. My husband complied and said I am in Lubbock right now running errands, but your welcome to come and do just that. Come about 5:30pm that same day, my husband recieved a call from the owners wife, and she stated, "Mr. Keasler, I am so sorry for my husband's behavior, I have gone through our paperwork, looked at your cut sheet and realized we did indeed make the mistake of not giving you your T-Bones. We will make this right, and we may even have to go buy store bought T-Bones to replace what you didn't get." My husband agreed, and was content as long as they were going to replace what we didn't get. It was 2months later when we finally recieved our replacement steaks. What prompted me even more to post this complaint and review is because I opened a package of meat today that was clearly labeled Chuck Roast, (dinner plans for tonight) to only have opened 2 packages of T-Bone steaks. Most would prefer T-Bone steaks over roast, but my gripe is, it's not what I had planned for my families meal, and it's surely not what was labeled on the package. Now I have this overwhelming fear that packages I open in the future won't be what it's labeled as. The bottom line is my husband was greatly disrespected by the owner, and we didn't get what we paid for! Now that I opened up a package that was labeled as roast and it was steaks, I more than likely didn't get any freaking roasts. Something has to give. Why can't you just get what you paid for, exactly as it was labeled for you to get? Seriously not much to ask! ? Be cautious when using this business for your processing needs, you may or may not get all of your meat, and you will more than likely get mis-labeled packages. The pictures below are of the packages I opened today that was supposed to be 2 seperate roasts, and ended up being 4 T-Bone steaks. The label is damaged from the blood off the meat, but still readable.

Supposed to have been vacuum sealed, it wasn't. Every time you thaw something out blood gets everywhere. Some cuts were not traditional.

TERRIBLE! I called for an appointment to have 3 beef butchered in April 2020 and they scheduled me for Nov 12, 2020. In July they called to tell me they made a mistake and scheduled me during deer season and they don't accept beef during that time. They PROMISED to "work me in" around Christmas or New Year's. I called them back the 1st week of January 2021 and they told me "you are at the top of our cancellation list"....it is now late January and they have done NOTHING to help me for their mistake...and I still have 3 beef ready to butcher and have to go to the end of the waiting list somewhere else. THANKS A&K FOR MY EXTRA FEED BILL!
