My salesman, Jorge Rubio, was top notch, despite being relatively young. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and understanding but most of all, he smiled a genuine caring smile every time he walked back into the room during negotiations! In all my 40 years of purchasing vehicles, roughly every 2 years, Jorge was hands down the Best salesman I have ever had! I never felt pressured or nervous during my experience. He took care of me like I was his mother. Then the finance man, James Baker, came into the picture after I agreed to the purchase price, he too, went way beyond the call of duty to get me the absolute best deal possible. He explained everything to me and I was assured all along the process. I was relaxed and comfortable during my experience with him as well. We told stories, laughed and signed papers. This, too, was the easiest experience I ever had in all my car buying years! Cavenders has a fantastic team in Weimar Tx! I know that they will continue to take care of me and my new GMC Canyon in the future! I love my new truck and my new dealership! ? And I was a die-hard Ford girl since birth!

Couldn’t have been happier with the very transparent and professional team. I was expecting hidden charges and games but was wrong. Truly surprised.

Please run as fast as you can past this dealership!!! I am disabled and purchased a 2015 Ford Explorer from them. This vehicle was said to have been in the best of condition. I also checked the CarFax information. I saw were everything was in good condition that was reported by this dealership. It was stated the arms control had been repaired by Calvenders Auto Country just before I purchased it. I was not able to travel that distance and relied on the salesman. He kept me updated the complete time. I live in Houston and saw this vehicle online and knew the area since I graduated from the next local town many years ago. Do of course I felt it was truth through this small town dealership. Several weeks later my front en vibrated with a tire icon on dash. I then went to Discount tires near by and asked them to look at it. I needed a front end alignment and soon I took it to a dealership in Houston. They said this vehicle needed arms control. I was like hey, the arms control was already repaired according to the Car Facts information, also wires were rerouted. Of course Calvenders Auto Country knew nothing about this… I paid out of my pocket to get my vehicle out. I purchased this SUV in March 16, 2024. Already one repair. Weeks later my dash board flashed Check Charging System. I then made sure I did not trace the freeway and almost made it home when a flash on my dashboard showed slippery street icon. The car dash started going out and it was very extremely hard for me to drive with me and my youngest son in the car. I pulled over to a gas station where I had it towed home and the next day towed to a dealership. This was June 25, 2024 . Due to Ford dealerships systems HACKED which was world wide. It took over a month for me to even get my SUV looked at.Do meanwhile I am without my transportation. I called and talked to my salesman Mr. Freddy Meek and he let me speak to his supervisor Justin Marcia. I was told by Justin he would make things right and would let me pick out a newer vehicle with lower miles. He said he would call me back. Well July came up No response to my phone calls. I have left many messages and have talked to Ms. Amanda Sassin BDC manager, she asked me how many miles were on the car. I told her I haven’t put many just went to the store and home. She said let her get back with me. Well I tried reaching out to the General Manager Mr. Jim Sanders. Since they want to make things right.,.. this dealership needs to pay the amount of $3,000.00 for the repairs they should have fixed!!!! I have and will be reaching out to all of Houston’s consumer reporters if my issue does not get resolved!!! This dealership only cares about selling cars and their numbers. I was told by Calvenders Auto Country the salesman that was helping me no longer works for this company. Wow!!! I don’t blame him!!!! Crooks!!!!

You haven't fixed the ongoing electrical problem since we purchased it new last year from you. The vehicle will not start consistently, 4 times we have had it in your shop. The time before last the service manager assured me, he wouldn’t leave me hanging……I now live with a battery charger in my garage to charge the battery on my wife’s 2023 Tahoe once a month to keep it from leaving her stranded. Not a great experience and apparently no solution besides my own work around. I don't believe this is a Cavender issue, In our small circle of friends in a rural area we have two other families that have Tahoes that range from 2021 to 2024 and have reported the same issue. They were purchased from two different small-town dealerships, don't have the same trim level or even engine but I bet they all use the same electrical system.....so again, I don't believe this is a cause of anything the dealership does. We have heard everything from "bad batch of alternators" to faulty O2 sensor, to keeping the key FOB too close to the car at night, and the issue keeps resurfacing. Something in the electrical system is "waking up" and draining the battery randomly, or there is a slow milliamp level drain that eventually pulls the battery down to a level that the push button ignition won't allow the vehicle to start. IF there was a battery gauge on the vehicle information display, we could help to monitor the draw and charge it when it got below 12 volts, IF there was a mechanism to get the vehicle into neutral when the battery goes dead, I could jump it off. IF if's and but's were candy and nuts everyday would be like Christmas.
