I had an oil change here about 3 weeks ago. Last week I noticed my car had a bad oil leak. Found the oil plug to be over torqued and now must replace a cracked oil pan.Follow up with the store - they won't pay for any damages as they claim they do not remove drain plugs from oil pans. This would explain why the oil looked black when they showed me the level at the time of the oil change and the puddle of oil under my car at less than 200 miles was extremely black. I do not recommend anyone who cares about their car use this location.

I don't usually leave 1 star reviews, but unfortunately my choice to go to Valvoline caused me considerable stress. First, at my oil change in November the tech accidentally spilled oil onto my engine block, and didn't mention it. When I started the car the next morning there was a terrible smell and smoke, so I brought it in and the GM apologized and sprayed out the spilled oil. Last week my check engine light went on, and after the first oil spill issue I took it to a family friend. Turns out Valvoline put the wrong oil in my car - 0W40 instead of 5W30. Although the GM seems nice, I can't recommend this place.

I wish I didn't even have to give 1 star. I pulled up in my daughter's car, while she was in the passenger seat. Mind you, my daughter is 22 and thankfully did not go by herself. The person I dealt with was extremely pushy and lied about the battery test. Unfortunately for them, I know a lot about cars and they couldn't pull the wool over my eyes. They told me my battery failed and showed me a digital reading of it being in the red. Tried to tell me that the AutoZone warranty on the battery expired and I needed to buy a new one. The battery is completely fine and does not need to be replaced. They also told me I needed a new air filter and said they would order one for me to pick up tomorrow. I said no, but again they would have just ordered it and my daughter wouldn't have known any different. The air filter was barely even dirty. It was a very good teaching opportunity, but my experience is that they are super pushy salespeople who lie about things that need to be purchased/replaced. Beware. We used to go to Valvoline in CO and loved it there. I was hoping it was just this one salesperson, but the manager was right there next to him, overseeing the interactions and never objected or spoke up. Definitely sketchy. I will say the place was clean, and I was in and out in 15 minutes. However, I will never go back.

Update a week later:No one from Valvoline customer service or the store location ever called me back as promised. I had the car reserviced at the dealership who confirmed they overfilled the oil. Probably wouldn’t have happened if they weren’t jackin around so much.Had my new '23 Taos serviced for 1st oil change. 2 days later received "oil level too high, see owner's manual" notice. Called store to ask opinion. The rep (Riley) immediately put it back on me. Me: "Is it safe to drive and bring in?" Riley: "IDK. Did you check the oil level?" Me: "You showed me the oil level before I left." Riley "Then it's probably have a faulty sensor." Me: "It's a new car so unlikely and more likely related to the work you did." Riley: "You'd be surprised. It's probably a faulty sensor." Me: "Ok, I'm not appreciating the approach to make this my problem and no ownership, and I'm simply asking if OK to drive to bring in but at this point I think I just want to speak to a manager about the direction this is going." Riley attempts to get manager, Caleb. Caleb is unable to stop whatever he's doing to help. At that point I decided to file a claim and just seek service elsewhere as it seems there is no trust to establish with this team.As far as the visit itself goes - none of my fluid levels were checked. I had to remind them to put check pressure and put air in my tires, and the tech seemed annoyed by that request.

I am 45years old and I am driving since last 31 years but the first time in my whole life I like this kind of service which u guys are giving in Webster. And no doubt mark and Nicholas are very professional. They know how to deal with customers. Excellent performance these two guys. How u guys do oil change is awesome.

Everything went smooth & fast. They had it finished in under 15 minutes. The location is nice and the building and work area looks clean and taken care of, and the staff was polite and focused. Will definitely be utilizing this place again in the future.

My first visit here, I was able to stay in my car. It was a different experience and very comfortable. There were three different gentlemen assisting with completing the oil change and checking my fluids. They suggested specific concerns to address, and printed it out for my records. They completed the inspection, and when I returned from out of town a month later (last week), a gentleman was able to provide me a copy of the inspection results, and I was about to get my registration sticker the same day. I received a Valvoline email to check my transmission next, and I trust they will be honest with the results.The manager, and receptionist assured me they will be able to service my motorhome when I return from my first trip out of state. It's a good feeling having a team to trust with my car.THANK YOU ALL!

The guys that work here are awesome and HONEST people. I went in based off the sticker from my last oil change, and they told me that I still had life left in my oil. They even checked all my levels, transmission fluid included, for no cost and sent me on my way. Genuinely so grateful. They could have easily just charged me for another synthetic oil change but didn’t.Service: Oil change

I had a low tire so I stopped in at Valvoline Instant Oil Change bless their hearts the topped all my fluids and aired all my tires. Way to go guys. Your supper stars in my book. ( the one by the new HEB)

9/16/23- Emissions Inspection for my car- Jesse was the service team person who performed the inspection service. He was very courteous and took time to explain everything and answer my questions...I would highly recommend Valvoline located at 18912 Eastfield drive Webster Tx (off the feeder road of I45 northbound)...it was also a joy to see the interaction between the other employees and their customers. If you value your time this is the place to go for basic automotive maintenance... was just a little nervous staying in car while it was being serviced but good thing if they mess up anything they cannot cover it up with you sitting right there.

I took my 2021 ram in for a oil change and ended up with a messed up engine after. I got oil changed about a month ago then after about 3 weeks engine light came on and there was no oil in vehicle. I took back to valvoline and was told it was a bad filter. They changed oil and filter for free and told me no engine damage was done. 1 week later the engine light came back on and I was told there was a hole in the filter from previous oil change and it was my fault. Nobody mentioned anything about a hole originally nor was I shown a hole in my oil filter. I filed a claim and was immediatly denied. I can't get the area manager to return a phone call or get anyone to call me back and tell me why claim was denied. This has easily been the worst customer service I've ever expierenced and highly recommend to not use this place.
