Dr. Little is who I take both of my children to see here, and I cannot say enough good things about her!! It took me quite a while to find a Dr. that I wanted as my children’s primary pediatrician, and I’m very happy with my choice of Dr. Little! She is very sweet, and listens to all of my concerns, without making me feel silly! I do have bad anxiety, and she has always taken her time with me, and my children!! She never makes me feel like our appointments are rushed, and I love that! I would recommend her to anyone!! We love Dr. Little!
I also want to add that this Drs. Office is always very clean, and we’ve never had to sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes, and the staff at the front desk has always been helpful and greeted us with a smile!

I took my oldest son to emergency room on 04/04/2023 he was not feeling well he was in pain. when we got there from the front desk to triage all towards the back to the exam room the staff was great including the nurse who attended him while we waited for Lilian Sanchez FNP to come see him . when Lilian Sanchez FNP came in to the exam room and asked my son what was going on. what have brought him to the emergency room my son explained to her how he was feeling. Lilian Sanchez FNP asked him about his medical history he said my mom knows my medical history Lilian Sanchez FNP responded your grown man you should know I'm asking you my son responded what he knows when it came to his family medical history Lilian Sanchez FNP turned with an attitude MOM I responded with my parents medical history after that she responded they where going to run some test and left the room from there on the rest of the staff where great and caring and would stop by to make sure my son was ok or if he needed anything and hope that he would be feeling better soon

I find that Utmb can be a hostage type healthcare system. What I mean is even though your insurance like mine does not require you to have any type of referrals to go to a doctor regardless, as long as they take your insurance that's all you need Utmb requires you must have a referral before going to the doctors and they try to brainwash you into saying no your insurance says you have to do this without even knowing who you are this happened to me before I even became a part of UTMB I was already being told I must have a referral before seeing the doctors. Maybe with other insurance companies it might be true but with my type of insurance all I have to do is pick up the phone and make an appointment regardless what network it's in Utmb HCA or any others . Please be careful when someone tells you this that you have to have a referral. Check your insurance. . Don't be held hostage. You may find better doctors outside the Utmb net work. Even when I stayed in the hospital, it was not that great. They have gone downhill when I refer you to Utmb sure it's a hospital, but check your resources and check ahead of time before you have an emergency, but will be the best hospital for you with your insurance. I would also refer you to Clear Lake. They have really come up in the last five or more years. I go where your heart lead you don't stay at hostage someplace because they say you have to. Something telling you somethings off get a second opinion from a complete different hospital system physicians hospital are also good if that's near you. St. Luke's is excellent there are so many good hospitals out there but your gut is telling you to search and somethings up do yourself a favor and a peace of mind look elsewhere just for confirmation I did, and I don't regret it.I'm FYI if you are going to stay at Utmb go to the lake city location it's a newer hospital food used to be good but it's gone downhill. If you're visiting a patient, please bring your food in to the hospital. Don't try to buy from the hospital. Their food is not that great in the cafeteria and good luck trying to hit the hours of the coffee shop.Utmb for me personally, I feel they have a lot of room for improve. That's me everybody has their own opinions and that's all mine is Their parking is a total nightmare even with the garage the other day it was packed full all the way to the top parking lot outside the garage. It's impossible to find a parking spot. There is not enough handicaps parkings. On the bright side, they have an excellent my chart while I was sitting in the doctors office I received my results. They are fast and quick I hope and pray that they're accurate and not just built on speed.. I give them a three out of five stars

The medical assistant who draws blood in there ofc just needs to be more compassionate about harpooning people. What a trickster she is to. If you don't know how just use a pedi because you don't practice empathy nor do you apologize for severely bruising a sick senior with many maladies. Blood running down the arm because some Pt have platelet problems too. I would NEVER have blood drawn again in this clinic because of you. This clinic needs to know how 2 kill more birds with 1 stone and NOT make sick people have blood taken Wednesday and Friday of same week. If the endocrine system has more than 1 malady then both should be addressed and labs done prior for assessment and floow-up~evaluation. Its been like that since 2002 for I. Is the Healthcare system that deficit or is it the institution??? No matter what I'm glad there's anything for all of US at this point with medical network. Jesus help US all!!!

Dr. Perez, 8 days ago. Very impressed with her. She was super sweet. She listened to all my concerns The appointment didn't even take too long. It was not rushed but short. Other than that, I'll definitely be returning and keeping her as my PCP.

Melanie Grey treated me like I did not know what birth control was? Very insulting. Told me “I need to get on that” when I mentioned I do not want any kids at this time.. like there is not any other types of contraception that is less hard on the female body.. Anyways. Also brought in a student without even asking if this was okay. I am a nurse myself so I do not mind- but when I have guests enter into my patient rooms I always ask consent. Also decreased a dose of my medication that was prescribed by my psychiatrist without considering my history. Being a young woman, I never get taken seriously. Another provider to add to the list of people who make me feel as if I do not know a thing. Wanted to establish a new primary doctor and did not even go into detail besides one complaint I have going on. This is why I struggle with finding a good primary physician.

I see Taylor Little for all 3 of my children from infant to older children. She is absolutely amazing! She is genuine and very understanding and listens to your concerns. She goes above and beyond every single time! I will ALWAYS recommend her to anyone!! The front desk is wonderful also! Any time I’ve ever used services with UTMB I always get the most outstanding service. Thank you UTMB for taking so much pride in your care for people and providing me and others with wonderful employees of yours!

So on Sunday night (3/15/2020), at about 9:58pm, I showed up with my 19 month old son. I walked upstairs and through the door and the two ladies said they were closed (not rudely). I said please, I just need my son seen. I was asked what was wrong and I said that he didn’t want to pick up his arm and he would start crying if he tried to move it. One of the ladies said to hold on, let me go talk to the doctor. Not 30 seconds later, the doctor came into the waiting room and asked what was wrong. I told him what happened, and he said it’s probably just nurses maid elbow (which my wife told me and I had before that day never heard of) and started to stretch my sons arm. The doctor waited there with me, and we were trying to get my son to move his arm, but of course being so young he was scared. So the doctor wanted to stretch and massage my son’s arm again, and after that, he started to move his arm a little more. The doctor said that he should be fine, but to monitor him the next day to make sure he goes back to normal. I told him thank you so much! And the ladies at the front were there waiting also. I asked, what do I owe you guys for the visit? To which the response was, get him home so he can get some rest. It was everything I had to not just break down right there. All three of them were so patient and so caring and didn’t rush us out of there even though it was well after closing. I didn’t even get their names, which saddens me because my wife and I would like to personally thank them from the bottom of our hearts. They didn’t know our history or the rough times that we’ve been having. It was a gift from God and I will forever be thankful!
