I went to a specific stylist because they claim to be a wavy/curly hair specialist. I got my color done, sat in her chair for 20 minute waiting for her to come do my hair, and she takes two seconds to talk about what I want and just goes in. This woman did not see my hair dry, therefore did not understand my texture before doing my cut. I gave her creative freedom to give me layers and lighten up the feel of my very thick hair. She doesn't do anything specific to my hair even when I tell her it's typically goofy and wavy and just does a hack job. I now look like I'm halfway to a mullet and I'm angry. Even the layers she did are chunky and uneven and awful. I want a refund but they aren't open today. I expect to be contacted by a manager or owner ASAP. Between highlights, toner, and cut I paid $265. The hairstylist kept asking me to pay the extra $25 for a blow-dry and style so, in her own words, she could "check to make sure she did a good job". She couldn't do her job without blow drying and yet she wanted me to pay extra for it. She still had to blow-dry the curtain bangs she gave me to make sure they were even.... they still weren't. She curled them to hide her mistakes. I need compensation and then I'm never going back there. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the colorist was lovely and took time with me.

Booked with them, they asked if I had a preference on whom and I said no. Turns out saying that signed me up for a stylist that costs about twice as much as I could afford. I kindly offered them the suggestion to tell their customers that information when they book and they didn’t seem very receptive. Had to cancel my appt last minute. Wasn’t happy.

I had long hair but wanted a shorter haircut for the summer and Stephanie made it happen. Love the length and she showed me how to style it. Made another appointment for September.

I am 100% satisfied with my hair appointment today. Celeste was amazing and gave my hair life again! She was very sweet and knowledgeable and her suggestion on how to cut my hair turned out amazing! Also the girl who washed my hair(forgot her name) gave the most amazing scalp massage! Everyone at Salon Vivid was nice and I most definitely will be returning.

I have been going to many many salons over the years that specialize in curly hair and I've never had luck.Today i went in for a chin length bob from Celeste. She cut my curly hair better than any of the super expensive specialty salons!! Celeste was also very friendly and knew just how to shape my hair for my face. I would definitely recommend this salon! Everyone is very friendly and talented
