I got my laser treatment done at perfection salon with Hannah. I had initially gone for my upper lip area but since they were offering a good deal if I got half my face treated, I went ahead with that option. This was the first time I got any kind of laser done. Hannah never marked any areas, just wrote them down in a file. I got my upper lip, side burns, under the chin area, and sides of the neck treated. Every other session, she would wander away from the mentioned areas forgetting what she was treating me for. Once she did a little of my neck and I had to remind her that it is the sides that we are treating, the other time she did the top of my chin when I had been going in for under the chin area. It would have been more professional for her to review the file and be prepared instead of asking me what we were working on. She never bothered to check on my progress except just once where she randomly asked me during a session if I’m seeing any results. I told her I couldn’t tell. I would use the dermablade for my face whenever a few hair would pop up because I had to show up to work everyday. I didn’t pause shaving to really assess the growth because I didn’t expect my treatment to go the opposite way. After my 6 sessions were over, I stopped using the dermablade and to my horror I realized I had grown really coarse hair in the areas she had treated. I never had thick hair to begin with, only fuzz. She never told me that laser doesn’t work on fine hair. I hadn’t done much research either trusting them with the process. It was only afterwards that people told me laser doesn’t even work on fine hair which is what the salon should have warned me about.
I reached out to Hannah again. She told me she will talk to the doctor who oversees them and get back with me and was very apologetic at first. Next thing I know, I get a text from her saying that it has nothing to do with laser and it is my low thyroid levels causing this. I was so upset and angry that I told her I’ll take them to court! How could they just deny that it had anything to do with treatment!? They made me go to my doctor and get labs done, she said that if the doctor could prove that it is a side effect of laser, they might be able to offer me more treatments at a higher dose. I went through ALL that trouble and blood work and submitted everything to her. I was told to wait for a response for another week and then they told me they can’t do anything about it, no more treatments, no refund, nothing! Don’t trust this place and their crappy machines. They surely don’t know what they are doing. They never go over what machine they are using, there is absolutely no information on their website about laser and their equipment, there are no handouts at their location either. My mom went in 10 minutes before they are closing to get her eyebrows done and they said they were closed . If you close at 6 close at 6 not 10 minutes before 6 . In that case turn your OPEN sign off if you decide to do that !

I am glad I found this place since moving to the Houston area. Malasha does a wonderful job at waxing. They are always super friendly. I highly recommend Perfection Salon for all of your waxing and beauty needs.

The customer service here is absolutely despicable. Malasha who threads eyebrows is very rude and ALWAYS has a attitude. I have come here before because I live close by and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but this last visit was the nail in the coffin. She didn’t speak to me when I walked in and continued to talk to another customer without acknowledging me while doing my eyebrows. She ALWAYS manhandles your face and hands. Once she was done she handed me the mirror and turned around without saying a word to me. I’m not sure who she thinks she is but her and her threading are NOTHING special. You have to set up an appointment online because they think they are some high class establishment which is further from the case. I was warned by others not to come here and I wish I would have listened. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They will never get my business ever again.

I had my eyebrows threaded by Malasha. She was very gentle but also quick! I was in and out in under 10 minutes \\u0026 it was my first time having my eyebrows threaded/shaped in several years.
