A veterinary gem**. One of the most compassionate, professional, competent vet offices I've been to in my 59 years. I can't say enough. Even when they need to refer (as was my most recent experience) due to a highly complex clinical issue, I felt as though they took care of us as well as humanly possible. And icing on the cake is the fantastic, genuine office staff. They are the perfect compliment to one of the best vet staff around.
**Original review left in 2023, and I stand by the statements made. However, since then I inquired about a well care appointment at the same clinic only to discover it's no longer owned by the same vets - it's been bought by a corporation that owns many different clinics. The individuality is now gone, and the front desk person admitted that policies changed to align with corporate structure (expected), as did pricing for procedures. In short, you're now paying extra to ensure corporate profit for some anonymous owner(s), and NOT to ensure viability of a locally owned, small business. To my knowledge the same vets are still there...although of course this may have changed, too...but no longer would I consider the entire clinic a veterinary gem. Some of the folks inside, possibly, but not the clinic, which is why I can no longer wholeheartedly recommend.

The vet and assitats were kind and professional, and seemed to take our concerns seriously. The nail trim was very quick, and our dog did not seemed unduly distressed at any point.

My dog had a lump to his side that the office got me in quickly and the dr treated him appropriately. Everyone was absolutely great!!!

This is a great vets office. They are super capable and professional vets and techs. Took time to explain everything to me. Very reasonably priced. NVC is absolutely one of the best in the metro, hands down.

We love Dr. Paula Ramsey! She has taken care of my furbabies for over 20 years. She is an amazing vet with such a kind disposition. She loves animals and it shows in how she treats them <3

My cat has never been taken care of to this extent at any vet clinic! The team here at NVC is awesome, all very kind, knowledgeable and informative at the same time. I can finally say I found a reliable, and affordable consistent vet for my fur baby :)

Neighborhood vet is the only place that we will take our sweet boy, they take such good care, give peanut butter and will do everything they can to make our boy feel comfortable.

Desiree and Dr Ramsey were fantastic with Bailey! They were thorough, and took their time with her. They gave me options and was up front about everything. I’ve been bringing my pets here for over 40 years, and will continue bringing my babies here. Thank you, y’all are the best

I love this place for my three furbabies, especially for Blue my pit mix, other vets pushed him aside because his breed. I recommend for everyone. They truly care for your pets.
