I bought a foam mattress with gel cooling top by MLILY three weeks ago. The next day I felt like I was getting sick. After a few days I had a low grade fever, chills and painful skin. I also developed a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. I called my doctor and got antibiotics. I finished the antibiotics but felt the same. I started to notice I only needed Motrin at home and I felt better a few hours after getting to work (ER nurse).. After another week of it I woke up one day with my skin burning and realized that it’s my mattress making me sick! In 2017 the laws changed requiring a mattress to be flame retardant for 15 minutes in a fire. The chemicals used to do that can be very toxic and apparently someone like me can get really sick. I went to the store and they told me final sale no refunds. At this point I just need it removed. But to keep my $2500 for something that is running my life seems very wrong.

The mattress that we received was not the mattress that we were told we we’re going to get. We were told that the mattress was a Beautyrest Black Hybrid but when it arrived today. It came with no tags and only one that said “Beautyrest Hybrid. No where on the mattress did this say it was a Beautyrest Black and the manufacturer tags were cut off of the mattress. When I called to ask for documentation they just said that they could exchange it for a different mattress. I don’t want a different mattress. I want the one I was told I was getting. Michael kept assuring me that I got a Beautyrest black mattress and said to look online. I’ve looked everywhere for this mattress and it is no where to be found. Similar ones are out there but the Beautyrest tag is completely different. He then said to look at the invoice which said Beautyrest Black but it was obvious he typed it in as it had no item number or any supporting evidence that this was what he said it was. Something is not right and they are refusing to make it right. I want to return this mattress and get my old one back. I do not want to give this place my business ever again. I do not trust them. Cutting off manufacture tags and then saying that it is this mattress without any proof is ridiculous to me. Now I am out money and very unhappy. Michael lied to us and cannot back up his claims at all. For this I will never recommend this place of business and I will be seeking counsel to make this right.

Okay so went here to buy a mattress and at first things did not go well. But my salesman Michael made it right and fixed the issues. So here’s what happened. The actual process of buying the mattress was pretty painless and went very smoothly. It went south when the mattress was delivered. Me and my wife purchased a Beautyrest Black Hybrid. But a regular Beautyrest Hybrid was delivered. The mattress that was delivered looked exactly like the Beautyrest black except where is the logo was it didn’t say black. Just said hybrid. The mattress also didn’t have any tags on it. A new mattress with no tags on was a major red flag not to mention it’s illegal to sell a mattress without tags. So me and my wife called up Michael and he told us that he would fix it and that we could exchange it for a different mattress. We asked if he could show some kind of documentation that the mattress that was delivered was indeed a Beautyrest black hybrid. He said he could not. But he said come back to the store and pick out a different mattress and that he would make sure that it is the correct mattress that gets delivered and that it has law tags. At first it was a major headache going to this place, I was extremely angry at what had happened. But Michael came though and corrected the issue. I do feel like it should of been disclosed that the mattress was going to be sold without tags. But in the end it all worked out.

Make sure you ask to see the return and/or refund policy on anything you buy here. They will not allow me to return the adjustable base I purchased without being told and was not posted, and was not in my receipt as required by state law. My receipts I signed do not state the item is non refundable, non exchangeable, or nor refunds, yet they are insisting that it is.I was given paperwork AFTER I signed and purchased the adjustable base. But my customer copy’s I have so not contain or inform that it is all sale final.Texas Law:Sec. 353.112.BUYER'S ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF DELIVERY OF CONTRACTCOPY.(a)Any retail buyer'sacknowledgmentof delivery of acopyof theretail installment contractmust:(1)be in at least 10-point type that is boldfaced,capitalized,or underlined or otherwise conspicuously set out fromthe surrounding written material; and(2)appear directly abovethe buyer's signature

Mattress One 19060 Gulf Freeway Friendswood On 6/28/2019 we met Victor A. when we bought a mattress from this store. We needed the mattress and adjustable base quickly because we were in the process of moving from AL back to TX. Before we bought the mattress and platform, we warned him that we had a spiral staircase and there was no other set of stairs. On the day of delivery, they could not get the bed up the stairs. We called Victor and he said as soon as he was done at the store around 9 p.m. he would come to our house and help us get the bed frame upstairs. So instead of sending the bed & base back to the store, we decided to wait for Victor's help and trust that he would show up to help. Victor arrived with a friend to help us. Remember this is after hours and he was not on the clock. We attached straps to the base and the railing of the balcony. The three of us pushed up the adjustable base while Victor pulled it up to the balcony and secured it as much as possible. As soon as Victor had it stabilized we all ran upstairs to help him pull it up and over the railing. After struggling and sweating profusely in the humid and very hot summer night we successfully got the base upstairs and most importantly no one was hurt. Victor and his friend went above and beyond that night to help us.

Staff at this location is amazing. We have been awaiting delivery, and they didn’t show, didn’t even call. I called today, and they informed us that apparently the mattress is on backorder, with no idea when it come in. Phone number at the store doesn’t work, so can only communicate with corporate. Thanks a lot.

If I didn't have to give a star for this place I wouldn't. We purchased mattresses and box springs and they delivered the wrong sets. The sales person said she would fix it. It's been months and we even spoke to the district manager who is as worthless as the saleswoman who they promoted for being an idiot. They make promises they do not keep. Excuse after excuse and nothing has been done. Horrible customer service. Company is a joke.
