This place is a rip off!! I asked my wife to get an inspection for me while I was at work they forced her to buy new windshield wipers and a new air filter or they wouldn’t pass it. The inspection sticker was supposed to cost $25 she ended up paying $152 for wipers and an air filter. They take advantage of people who don’t have much knowledge of cars. Stay away and don’t go here if you are a woman.

Do not come here. I needed to get my car inspected and was told by the inspector that my car wouldn't pass. When I asked why, he said my tail lights were bad and needed to be replaced. I was in shock since they were working just fine. He told me in a really rude and demeaning way, 'I'm the inspector and I'm not going to do it' and went back inside!
I went to a different Kwik Kar and they told me nothing was wrong with my tail lights and passed me with no problem! Both my father and husband agreed my tail lights are just fine and don't need to be replaced. Just crazy. I know you hear about mechanics taking advantage of women, but I've never had it happen to me before.
I used to always come here as it's close to work, but I will never be back.

I recently went for an inspection, and the technician informed me that I needed to replace my battery in order to pass. After the battery was swapped out and I paid for it, I found out from a different technician there that the battery replacement was only a recommendation and not a requirement to pass the inspection. This directly contradicted what the initial inspector told me, and I feel conned out of $300.
I spoke to the second technician, who talked to his manager. The manager claimed that the initial inspector never said the battery was required to pass. It seems like there is a lot of covering up happening, and I hate that I was lied to and pressured into buying something I didn't need.
Additionally, they tried to get me to replace the air filter, saying it was dirty. However, I had just replaced it less than three weeks prior at the dealership, which would have informed me if there was an issue with the battery at that time.

Unbelievable great service with full explanations and fair pricing. I had extra service with ac besides oil change and I can honestly say the best experience I have ever had. If 10 stars were a rating. this place would have it!!!! First time here but now life time customer...

It seems things have changed here. We use our dealership for our oil changes and always get our inspections done here. My wife took new Bronco for first ever inspection and they told her she needed an expensive oil change and flush (we stick to the recommended OEM replacement schedule). Why the hell were they checking the oil for a state inspection????!!!!!! And how could oil be dirty on a new truck that has its oil replaced regularly?????Shame to see a place go downhill like this. Will not be using again.

Never again! Tried to sell me things I did not need .Told me my oil was very dirty . And very low…. It was not low ! Or that dirty over, exaggerated! Offered discount on an oil flush .. The autos these days have sensors So they smarter than the new managers.I declined everything!!!! Went down the street ! They said none of these issues existed. Prices jacked up

RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS. They did the $148 oil change and my car didn't make it 10 miles before the skid plate was dragging. I called the manager at Kwik Kar which I though would be an easy discussion. Nope - They denied any responsibility! Now I question what they did regarding the oil change. There are too many legitimate, responsible businesses around to risk your car with these guys.

charged me for a skid plate removal, but the truck doesn't have a skid plate. And tail lights were out but passed inspection.

This place sucks. They tried to charge me $15 to remove the skid plate on the bottom of my truck to change the oil. In the 15 or so times I've had my oil changed, no one has ever charged me for this. I will never go here again. I recommend Pep boys at 1580 west main St in League City. They're super honest, helpful, and will include a tire rotation with every oil change for free.
