Today I had such a wonderful experience while shopping for dining room chairs at the Baybrook World Market.
I already purchased a dining room table from World Market a couple of months ago. But I didn’t see anything I felt 100% sure I wanted, so I decided to look around at other retailers for the perfect chairs.
After looking tirelessly (for two months) online and in brick and mortar stores, I was ready to get chairs. I was still undecided but Samantha did a wonderful job of assisting me in my search for the perfect chairs,
Samantha was so kind and pleasant as well knowledgeable. I appreciated her assisting me on what she thought would work best, and she showed me how to find any eligible coupons online so I could get the best price.
I was so pleased with Samantha’s customer service skills. She did an excellent job listening to my needs and presenting appropriate options. I never felt rushed nor pressured.
Thank you, Samantha and Hilda for helping me today. It’s like a breath of fresh air to find such dedicated associates to make your shopping trip so stress-free and easy—and successful!

I came into this location on June 8, 2024. There was a male employee with black glasses in a blue flannel shirt following POC around. I came into this store at around the same time as this black couple. I overheard these customers talking about furniture and styles of decor they liked - they ultimately said they just wanted to leave because this employee was following them. I had started paying attention to this employee because this couple and I had taken the same route through the store and I knew they weren't doing anything wrong. He was clearly following them and ONLY approaching other POC throughout the store. This was a few weeks ago and what I witnessed has still been bothering me. Please train your employees better and if you're thinking about shopping here, know you'll be watched like a hawk if you have a certain skintone.

A little of the world in one place. I encountered my childhood going through the isles. I made purchases of products I'd long forgotten about after being introduced to new foods. The prices were reasonable and walked out with a desire to cook what my mother and father did in my younger years. I also left the place with an introduction to new foods, new chips, wines, candy, and much more. I LOVE this place!!! It is my new favorite.
