A lot can be said about big lots. It's not to fancy and it's not in a great location. But..the prices are great, product is always good and the staff is really nice.

The store was okay. I went to buy a chair and the lady went in the back and said they don’t have any in stock. I asked her if she would check with other stores. She again went in the back and said we do have them in stock. Then when I asked if they delivered she gave me a smug smile saying we don’t deliver. She was way too happy when she told me they weren’t in stock. She almost basically told me don’t shop here or buy our products with her attitude. I’ll stick to ordering things on line.

The store and even the strip mall itself have seen better days--Lack of merchandise, shelves barely stocked, and yet STILL managed to feel cramped and short of space. That's quite the feat.The one saving grace was the staff, who seem to genuinely care and try to assist their customers. One associate (wish I had gotten her name) went out of her way to help me locate a particular item. The cashier (she wrote her name on the receipt and I can't read it) was friendly and professional, and was calm when the computer wouldn't accept my coupon and I was momentarily panicky.So, kudos to the employees (at least the two I dealt with), but there needs to be improvement (much, much, improvement) on product availability and presentation.
