Tasty food & good service. This was my first time here. Fun store. I'm from California so the cowboy culture is pretty fun to check out & learn about.

Very good breakfast. It was crowded so we sat in the overflow area - which was inside the retail store. It was kinda cool. We also had lunch there on a different day. It was very good. My husband's hamburger was delicious. I had homemade pimento cheese sandwich.

My recent visit to Teskey's General Store and Grill was a pleasant surprise. Despite being short-staffed, the owner himself was waiting tables, and he did a fantastic job. The food was still delicious, and the service, given the circumstances, was impressive. It's clear that the owner is truly dedicated to ensuring a great experience for customers. I admire their commitment, and I'll be back to support this wonderful restaurant.

Great food, wonderful service, very comfortable environment. Really nice place for breakfast just off the highway and east on/off of I-20.

Was berated and told no by the waitress when trying to order an appetizer. I was told they were short staffed and I understand she was flustered, but she literally stood there yelling at me and pretty much told me I should be grateful they were still serving us breakfast even though we were there 10-15 minutes before they stopped serving breakfast. Ended up leaving.

Food is always fabulous. Portions are large. The servers are quick and check on you throughout your meal. You sit by yourself is join some locals that have an empty chair at their table. It's a great longtime local establishment. You can have breakfast or lunch, add to your wardrobe, buy ranch supplies or visit the gun shop all in one stop! This a well thought out store.

I love wandering this store. There's so much to see and buy. They have a huge selection of western ware, saddles, tack, guns, and more.

The food here is divine!! Everyone absolutely loved their breakfast, especially me! I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of home fries. The biscuits seemed to be toasted in butter and were so flavorful! The gravy was delicious too. The atmosphere here is pretty cool, lots of western decor and also very nice and attentive staff!

What if Meemaw's kitchen, REI, Army Surplus, a feed & tack shop, and Shepler's all merged together into a one-stop shop of all things Texas Rodeo & Ranching Culture? Well, if they did, it would look a lot like Teskey's General Store & Grill. As a Texas girl raised on trail rides and both types of music, country AND western, I found Teskey's to be a delightful place to visit during my short weekend in Weatherford. If you're coming in from Austin via 281 to I-20 (the ONLY way you should; the hill country drive is so pretty!), you'll see Teskey's just as you enter town. You can't miss it, what with the colorful collection of life-sized horse sculptures on tall pedestals and the fancy, flashing LED billboards. It doesn't seem like there's a restaurant in there, but don't worry, you're at the right place. We came in for Saturday breakfast at 8:30a after seeing the Yelp photo of a buttery, griddle-top, toasted biscuit and we were not disappointed. My first impression upon entry was, "Mmm, this place smells like leather!" It was packed with families of all ages and working men in cowboy hats, but we were lucky to snag the very last table by the front door of the cafe. The servers were super busy but always friendly and helpful, especially with our talkative Pawpaw who's never met a stranger. Bummer for us, the kitchen was slammed and there seemed to be not enough servers/expediters for the number of tables. It did take quite a while for our food to finally arrive, about 45 minutes after we sat down according to the timestamps on my photos; we were there for 90 minutes total. We all enjoyed our food, even though it was no longer warm when we got it. I'd say just don't come in if you are in a big hurry, or maybe try to find the sweet spot between breakfast and lunchtime. I later found out that it was PCRA Rodeo week in the "Cutting Horse Capital of the World," so that was also likely to have been a factor. The teen ordered the full stack of pancakes with bacon; a huge, working man's portion of pancakes plus 2 thin but crispy pieces of bacon - VERY good. I got the open-faced sandwich with 2 perfectly cooked over medium eggs, bacon, cheddar, and avocado on wheatberry - VERY good. Pawpaw had the first plate on the menu, 2 scrambled eggs with 2 crispy sausage patties, hashbrowns, biscuit, and apple butter - delicious. And hubby had the chicken-fried steak and eggs plate with hashbrowns, gravy, wheatberry toast, and a selection of jams (which we ordered to try with our biscuits). If the food had been served hot, this would have been a 5-star diner meal, all the way. I said the biscuit was the primary reason for our visit, so we were sad when one plate arrived without one. I thought it might be a lost cause after the long wait for our orders, but took the chance and just went up to the counter to see if they could quickly grab one for me. The teen behind the counter handed me a hot one, fresh off the griddle - yay! Then about 5 minutes later, our sweet waitress arrived at our table with another. Luckily, we had ordered an assortment of their homemade jams (peach, plum, and apple butter) with our breakfast, so we had plenty of tasty toppings to spread on those buttery, flaky delights. During the wait for our food, while the guys entertained Pawpaw over coffee, I had time to tour the HUGE retail store attached to the cafe. There are at least 4 different zones in there. On the right, you have all the saddles and rodeo supplies. Adjacent to the cafe, you have the Texana souvenirs and snacks. Then in the doors to the left, you have a massive outdoor and western wear section with all the great brands of boots, hats, and apparel you could ever want. Upstairs, is the water recreation theme area, with swimsuits and beachwear. There were soooo many beautiful things in there, but I exercised restraint and only came home with a souvenir coffee cup and trucker cap. Guns & ammo are in the annex building in the parking lot and we didn

After eating here I hate to see the limited reviews. This place is definitely not one to drive by for numerous reasons. We just happened upon here all by chance on the way home. I was searching for a place on Yelp as I always do because if I don't know the area I just hate to waist money not knowing if it will meet my expectations with what prices are these days. There were only a couple of pictures so I relied solely on the star rating and we turned around and drove back to it. SOOOOO GLAD WE DID. Service - even though the tables were full (a table actually invited us to sit at the end of theirs so we did not have to wait) the waitstaff - even those not responsible for us- were attentive, pleasant, and personable. Food- all 4 of us had something different and we all said we would definitely order it again. We had curly, regular, and sweet potato fries. Cheese burger, patty melt, club sandwich and Jakes chicken sandwich. I had to go with that because when we had parked in the back due to pulling a trailer, we had no idea how to get into this place and the forklift driver actually escorted us while he drove the forklift through the parking lot to show the way highly recommended it. Once we got inside it didn't stop there. He walked us to the cafe but on the way pointed out where everything was inside plus the other buildings. The supply area, toy area, saddle area, top of the line large knife display, and through the doors to the clothing area, home goods, then outside to the shoes and extensive gun shop. How did we not know about this place. Needless to say not only will we be back to eat - have to try their breakfast items, but then another trip to try other options on their lunch menu BUT, we have to allow a day just to TRY to make it through everything this place has available for the rancher. I did not even share that outside they have all sorts or stuff for fencing, feeding and working your livestock. So I know it sounds like I know somebody that owns this place but I don't. Never heard of this place till seeing it on Yelp. But being a retired business owner I really have to give a shout out when it's due because I understand that to make all this happen and the owners have it going on here along with the staff they have acquired. Great buyers have selected all quality (good to exceptional) here and a staff that you can tell love working here. I will be back and be bringing the trailer empty next time. LOVE this place, Food, service, selection, organization, and most of all feeling like a welcome patron. Very hard to find a business that hits a home run these days. I only took a few pictures but unfortunately none of our food because it was so good nothing was left! Don't drive by but if you did, turn around and go back. You will thank me you did!!! There is so much more I did not even share like the kids cow roping area and the biggest selection of saddles I would say in the world. And all the custom spurs!!! I don't even have a horse but wanted to buy a couple of pair anyway. I had not had a chance to read the reviews till after posting this because eating there was a quick decision. But I wanted to add to the person who wrote the 1 star review that business have to close at some point and if they followed your lead and stayed open to serve you, the next person would expect the same treatment and so forth so on till they are open 24/7. The wait staff are scheduled a specific number of hours and not only would they appreciate getting off their feet after an 8 hour shift, but I'm sure they have a life they schedule Dr apts etc around. Not not allowing you to order a 1/2 hour prior to closing would be different.

Breakfast or lunch simply awesome. Tesky's has a full menu for breakfast and I've eaten it all. Lunch is spectacular and the decor is country store cafe. The cheeseburger is as good if not more delicious than any burger I have had. This place is a must visit and once you have you will frequently return!
