I visited this GameStop for a PS5 controller and got a broken one. Came back the following day and the staff took 25 minutes trying to upsell me to a colored remote, despite my indifference to the color. They repeatedly suggested buying a new one for $70 instead of addressing the issue with the faulty product I purchased for $45. They had a locked drawer of "refurbished" remotes but could not be bothered to help me find one that was in good condition. They grabbed one out of the drawer and it had a build up of someones dead skin cells all around the buttons along appearing to have battle scars from bouncing into the ground. Additionally, their refund system seemed dysfunctional, forcing me to accept a cash refund instead of sending the money back to my card. Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Five stars. Employee was nice. His reaction to me saying "have a nice day" before he could was amusing. The place gives off the best, comfiest vibes for me, although the register was down. I reckon that was outside of their control.

My First and Only Choice for A Video Game Store. GameStop employees are very Professional and Respectful. GameStop Employees are Always Helpful and Friendly. Game Stop will always be my One Stop Shop for Video Games.

I personally like to shop at this location but the reason behind the 4 out of 5 is because this will be my third and fourth time replacing a Nintendo Switch. I bought 2 of them and 1 went bad a while back. I went into the store and Andrea helped me out. She always does and I’m not complaining about the service at all. I will now have to go back and replace 2 of the Switches (the one that got replaced a few months ago). I’m not happy about the Switch being new when purchased and refurbished. The refurbished one only lasted months and now both are needing to be replaced. I’m not happy spending so much money on a game system or paying another under 1 year replacement. I don’t think the people who are checking out the systems are really doing a good job at fixing or replacing the systems. I will have to contact corporate for this matter if I have to again pay for another system for it to do this 4 times. I will be going back to the store and see what other options I have with this issue.This is the 1 of 2 stores that I go to because of the cleanliness and staff. Andrea has been there for the longest and is very knowledgeable. She answers all my questions and always helps me and my family. I have referred other people to this location because of her.

I love my local GameStop. The peeps at the weatherford store are great and highly knowledgeable. I would buy a game here over having it shipped, any day. Thank you GameStop for keeping the local video game store alive, and thank you Weatherford GameStop for being here.

Bad experience. Guy gave me the wrong digital code to a game. Couldn't get my money back on my gift card. Wasn't happy with the game I was saddled with. Will not go back to location!

The store is a pretty good place to shop. Im giving it a 2 stars because they sold me a fake game. They said that they had a copy of Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy Color, I bought it because how often do you see a GBC game at a gamestop. When I got home i realsed it was a fake reproduction cartdridge. Its pretty telling that they didnt even check the game at all before selling it.

By far my favorite Gamestop location to visit, Nick and Andrea do a fantastic job at running/maintaining the store and are great folks overall. They are very knowledgeable about everything Gaming and Pop Culture related and their store is always neat and tidy. I always go out of my way to shop at their location.
