The good:- They accepted me without an appointment, but I had to wait longer than anticipated.- They did a good job with the alignment. The bad:- I asked them to not remove my wheels for an alignment, but they did and did not torque all the lug nuts.- They over tightened my drain plug and under tightened the oil filter causing me to lose oil.I normally work on my own vehicles, but I broke my thumb so I went for an alignment and decided to get an oil change as well. I stopped in early in the morning and they were kind enough to fit my car in and said it might take an hour and half to get my car in I agreed and sat down. It took 3 1/2 hours for me to get out of the shop, had I known it was going to be that long of a wait I would have had someone pick me up. I had requested they not remove my wheels for the alignment since a friend recently had a wheel fall off at highways speeds due to a shop not tightening his lug nuts. I ended up watching my car pull into the shop and the front two wheels were swapped to opposite sides and I got to watch the guys tighten my lug nuts. Only 2 lugs on the wheel that I could see were torqued to spec. And i feel like they should have brought it up before doing that even if it's to diagnose the issue with the alignment since I did ask them to not mess with them. I ended up having to take the car to discount tire due to tire issues throwing the alignment off. They did get my alignment correct, but I went to change my oil when it was time to change it again, and I found my filter was loose and leaking oil. The oil drain plug was also way over tightened and I had to use a breaker bar to break the bolt loose.

Mechanic I worked with, Dwayne, was very helpful and competent. Guy at the front desk was not.

Ernie's has been our first call for tires, lifts and alignments. They offer many more services and will become our go to for that going forward as well. Honest, respectful and fast! Highly recommend!

Ernie, Michael and the boys took good care of my car. They fixed a Spark plug seal leak and replaced some fog lights for me. It took a couple of days to get in because they’re busy. Worth the wait though. Repairs are solid. No leaks, car running well. I will be doing business with them in the future.

I have been a customer with Ernie for years and can truthfully say great service has always been a top priority for him. He is honest and makes each customer feel special. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Prices are fair and service is exceptional.

They supposedly fixed my rims that were bent. After going to 3 other tire places to have tires looked at they all day the rims are bent. So basically I paid for them to do nothing

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Crooks is the word in my opinion that best describes the ethical values of this business. I’m born and raised weatherford tx 50 years and try not to make negative reviews on local company’s. However this one is lesson learned for me.This was my third time doing business with Ernies tire and/ or son since Ernie had opened his own place. Not one of the three encounter were a quality experience. Simple quick explanations:The first was replacing tires on new fifth wheel to 14 ply from 12. They placed insufficient rated valve stems on the 14 ply tires and apparently they couldn’t hold the higher pressure and on the first trip. 5 hour run to Galveston and lost 3 tires due valve stems blowing out and causing tire to blow out as well. As most Rv/ fifth wheel travelers know is that the tire is typically not the worst part as they also tear up the side of your rig and mine went as far as coming up thru the floor into the cabinets. Lots of repair to be made due to valve stems. They replaced the spare tires from the road with new ones and put the same damn valve stems in and I changed out myself. The second time was also an improper use of correct valve stem issue on a dual tandem 35’ gooseneck. Just less damage. Now the final that finally sparked a review. This one is more of an ethical issue of doing business than having to deal with vehicle damage. This last time I purchased four used tires for an F350 pick up as I just couldn’t justify purchasing $2500 in new tires, I thought I’d try a used set. $500 and a verbal guarantee from owner that the tires were sound and in good running condition, off I went. Brought back within a week of installing as they were out of round for sure and not sure what else was wrong. . Returned the tires around a week later and was informed that when owner return from vacation, he would contact me for options. So left tires there as requested. contacted on Wednesday as I hadnt received any call on Monday as informed. During this call Owner son stated he would call right back after speaking to his dad and showing him the tires. He did return call in 2-3 minutes and informed that they believed the tires were good and that they could not except the return. I requested a discount on possibly purchasing some new tires or would even understandably except 1-200$ off the purchase price. They were bad tires when they sold them and I assume at this point that the verbal guarantee was worthless. My request was met with an immediate “no nothing we can do”. No effort and no care to even consider any type of general courtesy after undeniably selling me unsafe and general bad tires. So I’ve returned to pick the tires Back up knowing their is nothin I can do with them as my values appear to be much higher and I do not plan to push the problem on someone else. Just word to the wise that if they make you a guarantee or any kind of promise you can just assume that there words have no meaning or sincerity. I’ll take my business elsewhere like I should have done after the first experience.Dicky Hogan 11

I went to Ernie's to get new tires, an oil change, and a tune-up for my vehicle. However, I experienced several issues with their communication and service. They called me multiple times to confirm what they were supposed to do, and despite that, they only ended up performing the oil change and tire replacement. When I inquired about the tune-up, they admitted it hadn't been done and promised to do it the next day. The following day, they called near closing time and claimed that the tune-up was completed. However, when I asked for confirmation that everything was done, they informed me that the tune-up would have to be scheduled for a later date. Frustrated with their lack of communication and unfulfilled promises, I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere. While they didn't charge me for the services they didn't perform, it was still a hassle due to the poor communication. Additionally, they didn't provide a written work order or an estimate before I left. While their prices were reasonable and the staff seemed friendly, I would only recommend using Ernie's for simple tasks, as explaining complex requests to them can be challenging.

Had my wife drop off a Scion we were going to sell for 4-5k and the owner quoted $2600 dollars of work. Wowza! $1000 of it was diag and labor. It only needed an alignment. We ended replacing shocks. The owner talked her into a bunch of work knowing she didn't know any better. I take responsibility for not dropping it off but had no idea it would be this big of a mistake. I called first thing when I found out to make sure they didn't do the work but he said it was too late and its not his problem. Now he won't return the car. Don't come here if want a place trustworthy. They give small business a bad name.

Extremely friendly and professional shop, and honestly the nicest automotive shop I've ever been to. Ernie and his team were very polite and I was in and out before I knew it. After one visit I knew this was my go to shop going forward as the prices, service, and care can't be beat. To top it off it's locally family owned, so not only are you supporting a local business, but getting the best treatment around!

Ernie’s is by far the best in Weatherford. They take pride in caring for their customers. They do everything for our family, pull nails out of our tires for free, do excellent mechanic work, and have the best waiting room. When waiting he has an area for your kiddos, popcorn and drinks, and plenty of space so you never feel crowded. We only buy our tires from Ernie!

These folks are the real deal. Referred to by a friend. Truck had a serious vibration issues. They had it troubleshot, fixed same day as initial call, and for respectable price.
