Went to buy a product that had the price tag sticker of $4.50 on the shelf. Got up to the register and it rings up as $5.50. Both store reps on shift stated "we do not honor our sticker price tags and only go off of what it rings up as on the computer as so we cannot honor the sticker price". I informed them that's against state law and they gave me the same response. Called Dollar General customer service line and got the same response. This company explicitly price gauges their customers. Will never shop at any other Dollar General again.

Staff are always friendly and polite. They keep the shelves mostly stocked at all times! The eggs, bread, and milk are first come first serve tho.
