I went to this store for the first time recently and the owner, Mr. Maxwell himself was the one who helped me. He didn’t jump to say hi when I came in but he was engaging the customers before me in conversation. I waited patiently. When he did get to me, he was very friendly and helpful. He replaced my watch battery, which is usually only $10! Which is a deal (I’ve paid more than double that elsewhere). And then he polished my wedding ring back to looking brand new! And it’s nearly 20 years old. He was so kind to not charge me for either service which I was astonished by in today’s economy!! When I pressed him on payment, his response was everyone needs a lil kindness every now and then in today’s world. As payment I said I’d come on here & write a positive review. This is me following through with my word :) For any future jewelry needs I’ll definitely be back!!

Good customer service is "NOT DEAD"! My experience at this store was great. I went in for a battery replacement and I received service and information about my watches with a smile. Good place to do business.

About two years ago, I was in this store to shop. A woman who was nice enough was talking with me, answering questions, etc. I have a beautiful solitaire sapphire ring my husband gave me for our 25th wedding anniversary. The man who was the “jeweler/expert” came over to see it. He looked at it, asked me how much we paid for the sapphire, I told him and he said in a too loud and very rude/self righteous voice “you paid $10,000 for THAT”? Wow, how’s that for customer relations, not to mention ignorance?

I went In here today to have some watches repaired and new batteries put in. The owner, Jodi, acted like we were long time friends. He was SO helpful, very kind, and it was overall great experience. His prices cannot be best. This is definitely the place to go for any sort of jewelry or watch repair without a doubt!

I took my watch there to get a pin in the watch band. He not only put a pin in it and didn’t charge me at all. He give me information on another watch I had. He will have my business.

I recently had a new diamond set in my wedding set. I recommend Maxwell Jewelry for all you setting and repair needs. I brought the new diamond into the shop on Friday and was able to pick it up on Tuesday. I was amazed.Jody went above and beyond what I was expecting. I can't stop looking at my new ring. He not only set the new center stone but carefully looked at the surrounding stones. I have a prong setting for all the stones. There were quite a few that had been worn down. He re-tipped and tightened those stones.I will be bringing all my jewelry repair/setting to Maxwell Jewelry. Additional benefit is they are local to Waxahachie.
