SUPER helpful front employee named DT made shopping at Waxahachie CVS a wonderful experience! He was so helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. This location is further from my home, but I’ll continue to drive the extra distance to get this great customer service!

My family member got a brand name medication for $100 copay on 5/22/2024 The medication has a manufacturer's coupon and I helped him to find it on 5/23/24 (because he did not know better and the CVS clerk that rang him up did not suggested him to get it either). I told him to go back and ask them to apply the coupon and get a refund. That's something easy to do and people that has worked at the pharmacy knows that is like an every day transaction, BUT NO! Pharmacist BEVERLY refused to do the approval and said that it was up to the manager to approve and for him to come back some other time. I personally called the store number as they requested, to speak calmly to Beverly right after and asked her to please help him. She said HE WAS TOLD ALREADY TO COME BACK WHEN THE MANAGER IS HERE AND THE APPROVAL WAS UP TO THE MANAGER. I questioned her why she was not approving that refund if she has the authority and also her own override to do it. She said the medication was not filled that date, well, I told her that should not be an issue. If you change the fill date and run coupon (totally valid to change, specially because that medication is not a controlled substance), she still said that SHE WAS NOT DOING THAT TONIGHT in a condescending manner. I would've understood if they were about to close for the day and they had already closed the registers but no, it happened around 8:20pm and pharmacy closes at 10pm. He went back Friday 5/24/24 to find another pharmacist that did not fix it for him either. He had to go a third time Sunday 5/26/24 when finally the manager was there and to her surprise of why the other people did not do it, she approved the refund. So, my point is please have Beverly re-trainned in proper customer service and pharmacy claims and to not to discriminate customers, because definitely my family member felt that way.

I have been with them since 2017 and had no problem. 15 days ago my neurologist prescribed a seizure medication and the have given me the run around. They could at least be honest enough to say we won't fill this rx instead of giving me fake times and days. I have transferred out to another pharmacy and will not do business with CVS again, I am don!

I was at this place last night was greeted when I came in, was bebopping along just doing some retail therapy and overhear this customer at the self check out trying to figure it out. Couldn’t be more simplified. The employee was trying her best to show him, actually doing it for him and he continues to huff and puff, called her a “**** a**” and rushes out. Folks cry all day long about how horrible customer service is but customers like this make those horrible employees. kudos to that young lady who kept it together and was still professional.

This place doesn't care for their patients nor their customers. They already have ridiculous hours they close on top of not wanting to hold up for a few minutes when a customer has a real emergency and was trying to be there as fast as possible. Just utterly frustrated. Will be transferring the remainder out and taking it to another local retailer. Very very disappointed and now have to waste gas on another trip to waxahachie.....

I have been filling my medicine here and I feel they have great staff, especially, Christine. My doctor constantly forgets to put things on the scripts she calls in and CVS fixes it quick and no delay in receiving my prescription. I also receive text alerts about when I have medicine ready. I have not had any trouble with CVS, they go out of their way to make sure I get my scripts on time. Most people I noticed who leave a review are so quick to blame the pharmacy when there is trouble with their scripts. But most of the time the problem is really with the doctor and CVS is the one fixing the doctor's mistake, while being hassled by the customer like it was their fault. Overall, this is a great pharmacy and it will continue to be the place I get my medicine.

They let you know about your prescription being available or not. They send texts about your profile. It's ok. Staff is helpful.
