Website states they can perform surgeries for spaying, I just called and they stated they do not have a doctor that can perform spaying at this location.

Great experience and service I received from Dr Skees! He is great along with staff member who checked me real pet lovers. I did not feel that it was all about the money as I feel when I visit other vets for my pets. Dr Skees is very knowledgeable and he cares and is not trying to get over on you and your fur baby. He only recommends what he feels is necessary for your pet and not a ton of unnecessary test that cost lots of money just for you to leave feeling bad that you can’t afford the extra test the other clinics throw at you just to get money. I felt so good leaving knowing that my baby got seen by a Dr that really cares. I have senior dogs and we need more caring l doctors like Dr Skees. Thank you I will bring my fur babies here anytime they are not feeling well because he cares about getting my baby better and it’s not about the dollars.

They were very kind and understanding when having to put my 17 year old cat down. This was very hard for me, and they gave us as much time as we needed. They got me in quickly to avoid having her be in pain for longer.

Monday, July 1, 2024, at 8:45 a.m., our male Dog had a Veterinary appointment at the Petco Vetco Total Care, located at 8004 Denton Hwy., Watauga, TX. Dr. Skees, finally ended his speech, "basically trying to make me feel guilty as if the dog is miserable and it's our job as pet owners to do what's needed to care for the pet, and many refuse to do this because they simply can't afford to get the medicine." My response to Dr. Skees for the 4th time after him spending an additional 20 minutes to convince me to give the Dog a shot that I'd already informed Lourdes (Dr. Skees medical Tech Assistant), that we were no longer going to administer (Cytopoint). Affordability had "nothing" to do with it. It's the effectiveness of the Cytopoint which was our concern. Our Dog has taken the Cytopoint injection for the last three (3) years during what was diagnosed as "allergy" season for him. This year, we need to get to the root of the problem and try to fix the problem -vs- continuing to inject the Dog with medications that obviously only helps for what Dr. Skees has informed for four (4) weeks (although our pets Paws breaks out between every six to twelve months, extremely noticeable during the months starting around April, July or August). My recommendations for Veterinary Physicians and Medical Techs with the approach of Dr. Skees and Lourdes, is to please do as the Pet Owners initially instructed you to do. Don't recommend a lot of unnecessary medications and shots for a Dog, just because they are a Dog. Lourdes recommended the Flea and Tick injection and charged for this treatment that was NOT needed.
The private exam room had flying Gants, Flies, and other flying insects, which made the room appear to not be 100% clean. I was skeptical to even let my Dog sit on the floor. This issue can be corrected by requesting a Pest Control visit to their clinic (treat the exam waiting rooms with a pet safe insecticide and purchase a fly swatter or flying ribbon traps).
Conclusion, there's a proper way to request updated information and never conduct a procedure on a pet or recommend a medication for a pet unless it's absolutely necessary. Follow the instructions of that has been provided by the pet owner, and as a Veterinary Care Physician, never use reverse physiology to make a pet owner feel that they're not providing the best care for their Dog, just because we refused a medication that’s obviously not working for the best interest of the pet with no long-term effects and permanent solution to heal the root of what's causing the problem (Allergy).
Where are the NATURAL solutions, recommendations, and suggestions to cure minor skin irritations and Allergies for pes that do not involve the consistency of medications being injected into our pets that's not curing the problem?

Dog got a shot for itching. The shot and vet fee was $149.00. A bit high in my opinion.
