This is a great place to get your tires fixed! they will actually look into it and get it repaired without trying to get you into a new tire! and also will do it in a quick turn around time.

Had a leveling kit and tires installed on a 2024 Ford F-450 and on the leveling kit all they did was springs. The 450 requires track bar relocation bracket, radius arm drop brackets, brake line extensions, factory steering stabilizer drop & factory stock extensions, which they did not do. They quoted a price over the phone and when I picked it up they charged more. I would not recommend using Texas Tires for any work as they are not certified and do not know what they are doing!

I bought all 4 new wheels and tires with lift for my truck last August and they forgot to put wheel spacers on and it was noticed by
an employee when they were doing my wheel rotation. I was told they didn't currently have any and to come back next week and they would have some and install them on my truck. We are at almost a year later and I still don't have the spacers and I have tried to rectify this issue at least 5 times!!!!

They don’t know the difference between steel bar and nylon bar sleeve when putting tires on wheels. Steel bar on aluminum wheels = scratches.
Also didn’t torque lugnuts

Used to feel like I always got a good price and good service. But this last visit failed on so many points. They installed different tires than what ordered. Said they were “better”. Strange!!! Then the service work they did had several problems. Then when I took it to the Saginaw store for the included alignment, they got my front end completely out of whack. Had to take it to a competent company to fix it.

Give G a chance!
I pride myself on keeping my transactions local. It's an uphill battle for small businesses to compete with all the .com's out there.
G not only presented a fair price, but also took care of me in less than 24 hours. He answered a late night text on a Saturday night and had new tires on my truck the following day.
Spend your money with the people who care. Texas Tires in Watauga definitely cares!

After my visit yesterday I will not be getting any work done with this location, nor will I be recommending it to any of my customers. Spoke over the phone, and through text, both times they claimed they had a set of my size tires. When I arrived they again confirmed that they had them, so I signed the paperwork done deal. 40 min later, as I'm standing by my vehicle, I can see them installing a different tire on my wheels I poked my head inside to ask about it and G told me "yeah we only had two of the ones you wanted, but these are the same quality and price". Now, while I can't speak to the quality, I have seen them cheaper than the originally intended tire through other sellers. There was zero transparency and frankly shady practice. I technically don't have any proof that I bought the tires they gave me, so heres hoping they don't try to screw me on any warranty work that might be need in the future.
EDIT- (since I can't reply) a simple heads up prior would have solved this, it's not up to the customer to make things right. If you can't inform customers of what you're actually doing to their vehicles, you shouldn't be in business
