“No, the H didn't fall off. Arlan's is different from the previous Harlan's that graced the "downtown" area of Waller. I usually stop by for quick items I need during the week and have consistently been pleasantly surprised by the brands they carry and the quality of the produce. For example, I was a little shocked to see both canned and frozen Amy's products (a fav back from my 12 years as a vegetarian). And, most important of all, I CONSISTENTLY find great avocados at this store for making same-day guacamole. I can't say that about any local Brookshire Brothers! If you're hung up on the old Harlan's (which was formerly "Price Lo" in my days as a wee lad) I say give the new Arlan's a chance. My credentials? I'm a picky, hippy-dippy millennial and I still can't think of a single negative to say about this quaint grocery store.”
