My paint was damaged when i got my tank back. They charged me more than I was quoted for and gave a 2 year warranty when I was quoted 5. Don't use Don Hart's. Staff didn't know what the other was doing. They work in an archaic paper system. No quote paperwork on file. Imagine that

Low quality work. Rude staff. I brought in a motorcycle gas tank that had some epoxy liner in it that I wanted removed. I talked with them a couple times and got 3 different prices. At the end, they charged me more than all three. They had to cut holes in the tank to sand blast the inside, but one of the welds has a hole in it and now the paint above it bubbles up. They tried to sell me their liner, but they would only put a 1-year warranty on it. Considering the previous liner failed after about 2 years I wasn't about to do that.

I have a 1930 Model A. For sometime I have had an overheating problem. I took the radiator to a shop in Giddings and it still overheated. I finally took it to Hart and it was recored with a heavy duty core. I have driven it a number of miles and it has stayed cool. I am very happy with the results. Thanks to you, Hart solved the problem.

I have been involved in the classic car hobby most of my life and I am very particular regarding the originality of some of my cars. When it came time to have the original honeycomb radiator from a 20K mile original car serviced (inspected, cleaned and flushed), I was looking for someone who had experience in this realm and that I would be able to trust.

Must say I am disappointed. I am restoring an old car and took the radiator to them. I asked the first guy to give me a ballpark price. He told me $250. He said they would call me with a price in a couple of days. A week later, I had to call them and spoke to someone else and was told it would cost $1,300. I just went and picked up the radiator without it being repaired. Either their employees have no idea how to appraise repairs or they are out to rip people off. Not sure which is true, but don't want to do buisness with a company with obvious issues.
