My dog was sick at 330am on a Sunday, we were in and out within an hour, the staff was thorough and provided immediate service. The cost was reasonable, and all the things that needed to happen were done immediately! Thank you for helping my fur baby! I appreciate you!

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the Waco Animal Emergency Clinic. During a time of urgent need for my pet, I expected compassion, understanding, and professionalism. Unfortunately, what I encountered was far from it.From the moment I reached out for help, the staff's attitude was dismissive and indifferent. It felt as though they were not interested in providing the care and support my pet desperately needed. Their communication was blunt, and their demeanor came off as rude and uncaring. It was shocking to see a lack of empathy in a profession dedicated to the well-being of animals. Moreover, the clinic refused service, giving the impression that they were unwilling to work or assist in emergencies. This refusal not only added to the stress and panic of the situation but also left me feeling helpless and frustrated. The lack of willingness to understand the urgency or provide any form of guidance was disheartening. This experience has deeply affected my trust in the Waco Animal Emergency Clinic. An emergency clinic should be a place of refuge and support for pet owners in distress, not a source of additional stress and disappointment. It's disconcerting to think of other pet owners potentially facing the same level of disregard in their time of need.I hope this review serves as a call to action for the clinic to reevaluate its approach to customer service and care. Pets and their owners deserve better, especially during emergencies.

We had to take our dog in after she'd been in a fight and had an injured foot. Sophie is terrified of the Vet. She usually has to be sedated just to take her temperature!! She instantly took a liking to Mikail (tech) and calmed down. I truly believe this helped with her comfort level with the Doc. I highly recommend this office for professional, caring, compassionate treatment of your fur baby. Prices are also reasonable.

If your dog is hurt expect to pay $1000 to start anything if you don’t have it well your animal is going to die , don’t come here for compassion or any type of help . They will take your money and laugh in the back while they inhumanly put your animals to rest .I got all the way to $700 dollars and nothing they will not move a muscle.Life and death is part of life but even when you have a chance to save your animal you better have money ready .

Took my little Chihuahua there 2 nights ago. At the beginning of his exam they said he had inflammation in his lung but it wasn't serious, we were given a quote for treatment which we just couldn't afford out of pocket at that time, once we told them we couldn't afford it, it all of a sudden became a serious matter. The doctor proceeded to say we understand it's cheaper to go to a GP, That's not the case some people just can't afford $600 right out of pocket. I have since gotten my little sausage breathing better and his lungs are clear. Needless to say if you put your heart in it you don't need a legal crook to take your money. Thanks but no thanks for your services.

Came in today for a fairly serious issue that got worse since last night. Wait times can be a bit long, but well worth the wait and costs. Was able to get a diagnosis and same day treatment plan once I was seen and make sure the little one will make a solid recovery. Everyone was really friendly and professional. One hopes I never have to take him to an emergency hospital again, but I know where I'll be going when there is an issue that requires it after normal vet hours if I need to!Thanks for everything!

I came in to the clinic with my little old man, and I met with Travis Twinning. Even though I was going through one of the hardest times in my life, Mr. Twinning was great. He was honest with me, he didn't pressure me into one decision over another, he made sure I understood what was going on, and he was incredibly nice and patient with me. My interaction with him during the entire process helped ease the situation.

The staff was so professional and genuine. I brought my 6 month old dachshund in due to him eating pieces of his puppy pad and he was having complications. They treated him so well and explained everything in detail. I definitely would recommend this place to any pet owners with an emergency. If anything else happens in the near future this is the first place we would go!

A few weeks ago I had to make the hard decision to put down my 19 yo cat. Since it was a Sunday I chose to go to Waco Animal Emergency Vet. From start to finish the care I received was wonderful. The staff was so compassionate and I am so thankful for their kindness. I really appreciated the sympathy card with condolences from the staff, along with my sweet Hermione’s paw print. It really helped with the grief. The pricing was also reasonable. I appreciate them and all they do. I’m sure it is not easy doing what they do. Thank you.

It’s taken me a couple of weeks to be able to write this review after we made the decision to put our 13-year-old cockapoo to sleep recently, but I have nothing but good things to say about this team. Unfortunately, we had two visits in one week as our dog’s health declined, and they provided compassionate care each time. Yes, it’s very expensive, but I believe that would be the case with any emergency vet situation. It was comforting to know that they were available when my normal vet was closed as we dealt with a challenging situation. If you have to have emergency care, I highly recommend them.

I had to bring my precious Maggie in for emergency care on 8/20/23. The staff was compassionate and moved quickly. The vet on duty (I am ashamed I do not remember her name) was amazing. She took the time to explain Maggie's condition in great detail. She also shared personal stories about her own experiences with pets. Those components showed me she truly cared about what my family was experiencing. We had to euthanize our precious girl, which was devastating. We were provided with a loving environment and support as long as we needed to make the difficult, yet, best decision for Maggie. Thank you all for everything.

I want to personally thank Dr. Haberman, Bella and Hannah for the hard work the put into taking care of my two Frenchtons when we were in a crisis. I am grateful that they took us seriously and listen to our concerns. They were able to diagnose and treat my pups quickly and with so much care. Thank you guys so much, it’s you who makes my life easier with all the hard work you do.
