First off, I gotta shoutout DJ! He listened to everything my wife and I were looking for plus knew we did not have high hopes getting out of our old car. He jotted down the wants and not wants and found us a car that we fell in love with! Thank you so much for working with us and I definitely appreciate you guys and y'all's hard work!

Absolutely Amazing dealership and staff. Just for reference I was in the high end (European) collison/auto industry, working with some of the highest caliber businesses and dealerships. As a result my standards are quite high in this regard.
University Mazda exceeded all standards. Communicative, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. These are all words that come to mind when I think of University Mazda.
Patrick Smith was our sales professional. He immediately greeted my wife and I in a friendly manner. There was absolutely zero pressure throughout the process. It was like shopping for a car with a close family friend that also happened to be professional. To me, this is what a car salesman should be.
Tony Demaria (sales manager) was pretty involved throughout our car buying process. I was also very impressed with him. He was able to explain things throughout the process in a very clear and concise manner and elaborate on some of the more nuanced aspects of the CX5 and the buying process.
The last step in the process was Brandon, he handled the finance and paperwork. We both happened to be veterans of the 82nd Airborne Division. As you can imagine, we talked at length about our time in the service but it didn't distract from his work and the buying process was finalized properly.
This was is my first time owning a Mazda (CX5 Carbon Turbo) and I'm thoroughly impressed. It definitely won't be my last Mazda, so you can best believe when I decide to upgrade down the road, I'll unequivocally be heading to University Mazda.

I just had an A1++++ experience at University Mazda service with Randy. After having a horrible morning with Waco Hyundai, which is a whole different experience, Randy was such a kind person and helped me out with out a second glance! I bought my Hyundai Santa Cruz at University Kia and have had it serviced through the Mazda Service center. All of my dash warning lights came on this week and for some crazy reason I felt like I should take it to the Hyundai dealership….WRONG! They just messed me around and out of a set appointment and time and my patience. But Randy at University Mazda…he did me right. I was upset and drove over to University Mazda. I just walked in. I didn’t have an appointment. I told him about the lights. I was scared to drive it too much longer without having it checked out. He came out and checked it over in the parking lot and told me what to do. He was so nice and set me at ease! This is why I have purchased 4 cars from University Kia/Mazda and why I have sent my son and sister there to buy vehicles! This is why I will be back to buy again from them! Thank you Randy! Thank you University!

A few weeks ago I dropped and broke my friend’s new key and was told it would be around $450 to fix online. When I went into the Waco dealership I met Randy and he was able to help me. He graciously took the time to put my friend’s key back together. He was able to find all the pieces except for one, which only cost me $40 (this price was also discounted). He saved me $410. I am so grateful for his kindness and help.

My MIL came a few days ago and had a salesperson by the name of Milton, said person refused to listen to what she wanted price wise and tried to pressure her into buying something more expensive after she and my FIL said no multiple times. Due to the amount of stress they put on her she ended up getting sick. They still did not stop pressuring them even after being informed she was getting sick with stress. It also took multiple times of asking to get the keys back for the car they brought to get an offer on. Absolutely horrible way to treat potential customers! I’d leave zero stars if I could.

After having a horrendous experience at another Mazda dealer, these guys at University Mazda, treated us right. Don't judge a book by its cover, the place may not be in the most luxurious of street corners, but the people treated us really nice. They were truly knowledgeable of the vehicles and I feel that they were honest. They accommodated us the best they could and they offered us a fair price for the car. I will do business with them again.

Absolutely the worst place to conclude business for a car! Bought in June of 2023, was promised the hail damage would get repaired but once I brung it in, I was told they wouldn’t be able to repair it and I had to come out of pocket myself for the repairs. Secondly RANDY & the other guy from service are terrible, no help at all. Now in July 2024, the car will not start. They directed me to get a new battery WITHOUT looking at the problem or addressing the concerns I had about the car. Followed their direction & bought a new battery and the car still doesn’t work. I’ve mentioned to look at the alternator from the beginning or TO JUST INSPECT THE CAR and they haven’t done anything! It’s their job! Now the new battery is drained and they tell me I have to go get another battery just for the to do a diagnostic test. I HAVE A WARRANTY, LOOK AT THE CAR. Garbage customer service. No service loaners to offer either so I have been without a car for 2WEEKS because Randy and his staff are lazy and unprofessional.

Milton and Fred made the car buying experience east and painless as I'm not a car shopper. Found my vehicle, got an appointment the next day and got to drive my new car home that afternoon.

Gave them a call after losing the only key I had to my car. I was told they would order a key fob and give me a call when it came in. I waited 2 weeks never received a call back. So I gave them a call and asked about the key fob they said it was in last week and to schedule an appointment for them to program it to my car. I made an appointment for right when they opened for there at 7:30 like I was supposed to. Then was told I need my registration, ID, and insurance which would be no problem if they informed me of this before I got there. So I went online bought my registration, by the time I did so I was told oh well you don’t need the registration since it’s tied into your insurance. AFTER I JUST PURCHASED IT ONLINE. Then they inform us that the car requires 2 keys to be programmed to it so we still need to order another key. So after waiting 3 weeks I still have to wait another day to get my car programmed. When unloading the car they weren’t paying attention and dented my car by the passenger door. Then sat there trying to figure out how to shift it into neutral because none of them had a clue on how to do so. I had to show them how to do so to here it in the shop. They are supposed to fix my car and I’m telling them how to shift a simple gear on it. Very low quality service.

I just bought a 2024 CX-90 from University Mazda My salesman is Fernando who is absolutely the BEST in car sales. My experience here was great it was not rushed he got me in the car I wanted . I highly recommend Fernando on your next purchase.

These guys were amazing! DJ took amazing care of us and was super friendly and helpful. Everyone bent over backwards to provide stellar service. Definitely worth the drive if you're not from the area!

I am leaving a review even though they did not have to do any repairs on my vehicle in the service department because Randy was amazing when i had to tow my car to them when it died on the HWY. He called me the next day and helped me understand exactly what was going on and didnt charge me and pointed me in the right direction to get my car fixed. I bought it used from University but the warranty needed to be filled by another dealer so he took care of contacting the other dealer, verifying what I needed to have done and got me all taken care of. I bought my last two cars with University and will be customer in the future.

To keep it short the car I had inquired about and scheduled a test drive for was sold the instant I got there. I was forced into a vehicle I did not want that feels like an overall downgrade. Now I'm scouring the internet to get this vehicle up to what I wanted. Newer isn't always better.
