Drove an hour with my elderly aunt & mother to check out the shop. Upon arrival, one of them asked urgently to use their restroom and was told no, they had no "public restrooms" and directed her to the Dollar General across the 6 lane road. I don't believe for a minute there was no bathroom in that building, they just didn't want to let her use it (What do their employees use?? Do they close the shop in the middle of the day to walk to a toilet?) Instead of showing some compassion for an elder, they expected her to walk across a 6 lane road in the rain. We left immediately and will never go back. They'll never get one dime from this family.

If you like treasure hunting, you'll definitely want to visit The Junky Monkey! They have some amazing finds (at reasonable prices) and they go out of their way to help. There are SO MANY nooks and crannies, and so much to discover if you love delightfully imperfect or aged to perfection one-of-a-kind pieces. Found a perfect narrow bookshelf on my last visit (with TWO runners up!) Whether you're a Waco local, or in town to visit the Silos or Baylor, it's a great place to explore!

This place is awesome...you go from some nice antiques upon initial entry and then up the stairs and outside to all of the rusty treasures. I had a great time picking here, plus Saturday was everything 20% off. The ladies running the show were nice and took great care of me. Can't wait till I'm in Waco again to visit them.

A good place to look for a small antique treasure or a new souvenir. It had cute t-shirts, some jewelry, and sunglasses.

Well be prepared for the owners husband and help to watch you like a hawk. I have never felt like I was being watched at a store before but they made sure I knew they were watching. And the upstairs is extremely hot.. like you will need a change of clothes when your done hot. She charges 15$ for a sign you can get at the dollar store for at the most 3$. I will never be back and absolutely do not recommend this place to anybody

The front had mostly tshirts and fast fashion jewelry. The back had mostly architectural pieces randomly displayed. I do a lot of thrifting/junking, but this wasn't my cup of tea.

I don’t know how this place could get less than 5 stars. There are so many amazing things there, the ladies working there were super friendly and it was also so affordable! We bought a refurbished dresser and desk and I couldn’t believe how great of a deal we got! We immediately started following their IG page since they post new items on there. Can’t wait to be back!

Loved it. First time in Waco not really looking for anything in particular and found several items at very reasonable prices. For an old coffee grinder and the folks were super friendly and helpful. Only a small portion of the store has a/c, but it was worth it. Stop by and give a look there is plenty to see and it won't disappoint.
