This is the place to go if you want to experience the best fried short ribs in Texas. When I found out they was doing spicy fried ribs I fell even more in love with this spot. Mr. Mitchell had always been an inspiration to me, great man great business. Miss him much but I see the family holding his legacy strong.

The food and the people really make this place so great. Haven’t been in quite a while and was pleased to see that they haven’t changed a bit. The fried riblets are what everyone goes for but I’m obsessed with the jalapeño cheddar links! Oh and grab a crispito or 2 too. I won’t wait that long to go back again!

was good before the owner died. don't know now. went at 10:20 (opening time 10:00) nobody there. As I was driving off a large woman waddled up with a key in her hand like she was going to open the door. Can't imagine when the food would be ready.

The only negative is lack of a menu with pricing that is posted both in store and online. The ribs are great but I imagine anything else they make would be as well. I've had several of the desserts (tasty) but would like to know more about meal options.
