I have no justifiable complaints. Went through hurricane Harvey! NO PROBLEMS. the building is Robust and attractive..... I called several times to Cardinal carports being the company I ordered through after getting the plans permits and having the slab poured. They promised within 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. A week later they were ready to construct the building on my slab. I had to put them off a week till I was able to get home. The workers were here on time worked quickly and professionally. There were problems with the slab they were able to work around. would have finished it that day but the garage doors were built to my original design before the final order. They arrived the following week and finished. I've had the building a year now went through Hurricane Harvey with no problem.

I ordered the building from a local dealer (12x21). she told me to make the concrete pad 1ft larger all the way around. After the pad was set I got in touch with Safeguard directly to schedule the install. When I mentioned to them the pad was oversized Beverlee told me that that was bad. It would definitely get water under it. I went back to the dealers (Al's Affordable sheds) and she refused to cover the cost difference to enlarge the building and assured me it wouldn't leak.I called Beverlee back. she assured me it would leak. She then talked to her foreman. They agreed to fit the building to my pad and not charge me extra. She also said she'd send out her best installer. They'll be getting all my business in the future (though not Al's. )

Worst company to do any business with stay far away. They take your money and run.

My experience was better than the other reviewers. Contracted though Mayberry Metal Structures. They in turn subed the work to Safeguard. Mayberry said it would be about 6 weeks before someone would be able to come out. No problem, I had tree clearing to do to make room for the structure. However, Safeguard called right away & were ready to come & start. I had to have them wait, because I wasn't ready. Once I was ready, they were out in a couple days. Was told they'd arrive around 10:00 AM. They were about an hour early. Three man crew took about 8 hours to install my 36Lx25Wx17H building. I watch the process. They took care to be sure the structure was level ( my ground was a bit uneven ). It's been in place a couple months now, and it seems to be very straight & solid. I didn't give 5 stars because it was a little difficult getting a couple documents from the office. I wanted a proof of liability insurance before I would allow work to begin. And I wanted a release of lien when the work was completed. The ladies in the office seemed perplexed by these requests. It took several calls to get these documents.

If you are thinking about using this company, I would buy elsewhere.. the company I purchased it from was great, it was Safeguard there selves that lied and customer service is not one of there strong suits. I tried talking to upper management, never could get anyone to call me back, after 2 months of not receiving my 2 building at safeguards fault, I was told they lost the invoice, I was then told my buildings would be delivered by Joel the following week, then I get a phone call from secretary I assume, on the day they were suppose to be deliveried it would be the next week on Thursday, then on Wednesday of following week receive another call from Joel saying it would be the next week now, well after 3 months finally receive buildings and they show up at 5:00 pm, and they put them up in the dark, none of the screws are inline, screws missed going threw the tin all on the roof, now my husband will have to fix all of this, we had planned on buying a barn and 2 more structures but will be buying elsewhere now, I don't know who owns this company or if they even care, but this is no way to run a company at all

I contracted with Safeguard Metal Buildings to purchase a 12x36 shed row barn for our new horse property. I went through CFF's Freedom Buildings, a local dealer. Safeguard was able to come out very quickly to install the building, but that is where my praise of them ends.We had discussed adding mobile home anchors to the building, due to the size, with our dealer. I guess she didn't put it on the form. We understood the clerical error and were willing to send the installers away until they came back with the right anchors. They said it was no problem, they could get it at Home Depot, and so we let them proceed. They did. They bolted in sharp, 2.5" channels in four corners, poking inside with oversized bolts, rendering 2 of the 3 stalls dangerously unusable. I called the company for assistance. Abel, the apparent owner of the company, assured me someone would be out the following Thursday to fix it. Thursday came and went without a word, so Friday I called back. Saturday morning, Abel and his son came out to fix it but didn't bring the tools they needed to do the job. Abel told me that they knew that was wrong, but they did it that way sometimes. (?!?!?!) Without any options, I agreed that his installers could come back Monday to repair. (Now nearing two weeks past the install deadline.) They did come back, peeling back the siding to put in the proper anchors and making the building look like it was hit by a truck. Again, I called. Again, they came out and finally I had the building I thought I bought. But I didn't. It was almost a foot short on length, so the custom stall kits I ordered all had to be sent back and reworked. Abel said that that is how they built them, blamed the dealer for not explaining it properly, and that I was out of luck. That they had tried to make me happy. I agree, they came out a lot... to fix what they knew they did wrong. That is not bending over backwards to make a difficult customer happy... that is fixing your own mistake. If someone wants a 3 stall barn, they want three safe, use able stalls. Don't put *safe* in your name if you don't know what that means.I don't know if the short building is the dealer's fault, thus the additional star that I would otherwise not give them; but the installation problems are absolutely Safeguard's fault. They made a dangerous barn and I had to fight very hard to get it safe. I still didn't get what I wanted and paid for. Go with another builder, if you can.
