My son who goes to Baylor took an Uber in the morning to get seen for his symptoms. He was told that an order for antibiotic and steroid was sent to CVS near his school to pick up after his appointment. He went to CVS right away to only find out that only his steroid medication was ordered and not the antibiotic. He called this urgent care clinic several times in the morning to remind them to order his antibiotic, but no one was picking up. The one time their front desk medical assistant/clerk answered the phone, they said they were very busy and will give the nurses a note to contact my son about the medications. Several hours went by and no one called my son. I went ahead and called them to see if the antibiotic orders were sent to CVS. The front desk clerk verified my son’s information and said that they were so busy today and has not given the note to the nurses to get the medication ordered. I told the my son does not drive and he’s feeling very ill. He would have to take Uber or walk to CVS to get his medication. I’m also concern that it’s getting very late and this should have been filled along with the first medication. The clerk apologized and said they will give it to the nurses soon and my son will get a phone call from the nurses. Two hours had gone by and my son still has not received a phone call. So, he called and was told the same thing..”we’re very busy and we’ll have one of the nurses call you.” My son told them that he just needs his medication ordered, not necessary to talk to the nurses. This is frustrating as a parent and for my child who is several hours away. This is not taking care of patients. Medication orders should be taken care of right away and ordered at the chosen pharmacy rather than inconveniencing patients who need to go there more than once to get their meds. This is poor management and terrible way of running a business. Here’s an advice…give your patients a copy of their drug prescription in case you can’t order the meds in the system because “you’re so busy.”

The receptionist staff, nurse staff, and practitioner were extremely kind during my visit. I did not feel like a nuisance at all, I have never felt more welcome at an Urgent care facility.

The person at the front counter was extremely nice and welcoming. The person who took me to the room was also super nice. Doctor was informative and thorough and non judgemental. As a first time visitor, I had no expectations, but it was nice to be treated with respect by everyone I came in contact with. If need be, I will be back.

Do not go here!! Terrible communication, Susan the nurse is SO RUDE and shouldn’t be in the healthcare field to begin with. They will also try to overcharge you $300+. So unhelpful and a waste of time going here.

Doctors you see are hit or miss. In my experience, 1 in 3 doctors were good, the other 2 were not. The other 2 really didn’t provide any helpful medical advice and seemed irritated that they had to see a patient.

My daughter went to this facility and they told her to have a seat. Two more people came after her, they call this two people and have her seating there. She is sick and why you didn’t take care right there instead or have her to have a seat????? I wonder why you guys didn’t take care right away. What is more important that take care the patient. Whoever told her have a seat should be pending to call her and taking care of her.

This company needs help in their billing department! Goodness - I went there twice for treatment, and later received a TEXT notification on a bill I owed. <--(Weird)! I called them and found I owed *two* bills! I have since paid them BOTH. Yet I have received three letters with paper bills (two were today) hounding me for payment (and as I said, I PAID them)! Jeepers - they desperately need to get a better accounts receivable system set up!
