I hunt yearly at Cross Oaks Ranch in Brady Texas. I had the opportunity to shoot a .300 Ruger Blackout. Had to have one. Praco had the last one in Waco. Robert helped me out and the service was amazing. He mounted the scope and even threw in some extra stuff. I not only bought a firearm but made a friend as well. Thanks man.

I'm typing this from their parking lot. I was looking at the guns when a customer walked in and asked if a revolver in the case was single or double action. An employee pulled the pistol out pointed it at me from 8 feet away while only looking looking at the customer and proceeded to pull the trigger multipal times to show it was double action. He never even checked to see that the gun was unloaded. That's the #1 rule of gun handling. I will never enter this building again.

Great selection of weapons and more. Plus the other half of the building is a pawnshop. Its like a garage sale and a pretty decent a gun shop all in one.

If you buy a gun from these guys don't expect anyone to give you quality information about the gun.. and if your gun is defective they are going to basically tell you to figure it out on your own.. my sister in law bought a S&W SHIELD 2.0 a month ago and shot it for the first time and it broke where the cartridge discharge pins are. They made no effort to help or give any insight on what should be done. Typically like I've done in the past. You bring your gun back to where you bought it from and they do what's necessary to send the gun back to the manufacturer and take care of the warranty information for you. But not these guys they love losing customers! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE buying a gun from this hand me down gun store.

Praco Gun And Pawn is a smaller business but with a large selection. The staff is knowledgeable and patient with beginner gun owners. They allow you to handle the firearms without breathing down your neck. I highly recommend this shop to other patrons. I am a long time customer since my father first brought me in around 10 years ago. I have been a lover of this place since. I have been to many gun shops in the waco, hillsboro, corsicana, and Dallas area as well as the surrounding area. But praco is the only shop that allows such freedom. They may not have the largest collection of firearms I've seen but they have a great selection none the less. They have a layaway program which allows you to pay for your item slowly over time. I have recommended them time and time again. You may see some bad reviews on Google but from what I can tell it's people who go in with a ego amd get humbled. I saw one where a man wanted to take apart a gun to "check the barrel" I dont know about you but I do not want to buy a gun that somone with little experience has disassemble. Anyway please give this place a whirl.

Had a great experience and shared a few laughs, helped me unload a .300 winmag hells canyon took off my pickney rail and helped me in acquiring a gun that I have been looking at for a while the Bergara B14 .300 winmag. Went above and beyond in finding the cheapest price on the Bergara and worked a great deal for both parties.I really appreciate the help and I will be hitting Praco for guns in the future.
