Made an appointment on June 18th for a 9:30 am appointment on June 22nd. Arrived at 9:15 am and she told me that it was first come first serve at 9:00 am. When I spoke with her, I told her 9:30 am and she agreed. Today of the appointment she said come back Sunday. I told her I had something to do tomorrow. I would not go to this shop at all. She's very unprofessional.

I recently found Kodou after waiting over an hour after my appointment time for another braider and left.
I called to inquire about getting a same day appointment and thank GOD I was able to get in later that evening.
As a cancer survivor still on some pretty Gnarley meds my hair is fine, thin and cannot take a lot of pulling. And dealing with hair during cancer is pretty stressful.
I shared that information with Mrs. Kodou and I feel so pretty!! There is no pulling! No tightness! I appreciate finding her and will NEVER go anywhere else!

I’m a regular here and they are AMAZING. The only place in Waco I go to get my hair done . The service is always top tier . If you’re not satisfied, you won’t leave until you are . Miss Kodou and her team make sure you leave feeling beautiful.
Side note: Get the $80 pack of curly hair if you want the look I got.

The ladies were very professional and nice and even waited for me
we started at 7:00 pm and were finished by 12:00am
i got Knotless box braids below bra strap length I love my braids and I enjoyed my experience

I came to Kodou when I moved to Houston looking for a new braider , and I must say, the quality of their work is absolutely top tier! The braids were done with such precision and care, leaving my hair looking really neat. The braiders were not only skilled but also fantastic with both adults and children. They have done me and my 6 year old daughter’s hair. The customer service was amazing, making me feel comfortable and valued throughout the entire process. They really know how to work with all lengths of hair well, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend Kodou for anyone looking for beautiful and well-done braids. You won't be disappointed!"

Lack of communication and they don't style sew in and charge to much but I can say she's very professional she gave me $20 back because of the misunderstanding and was very polite about the situation I was pleased with the sewing in just the lack of styling.Service: Hair extensions

Love my braids! I’m tender headed so I made sure to let the owner know. She did such a good job that I got compliments all week about my hair and it didn’t hurt at all. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been going here for little over a year. All of my experiences have been different. It depends on who will be doing your hair. However, I really love how my braids turn out every single time (which is why i keep going) I think my braids are always neat and they last!!! they dip them, cut/burn the fly always. the price was $190 for small knotless braids.they do braid very tight so if you cannot handle that I would suggest not to go. I would suggest to bring a snack and water because you will be in the shop for 4+ hours. i also go early in the day and during the week because they are typically not busy.My latest appointment was with the owner and I did not like how I had to hold my braiding hair while she braided it. It made me feel like I was working for her when i’m paying her to do my hair lol. then she would stop to eat or do something on her phone which was annoying and frustrating.but overall, they are good braiders. just make sure you are not afraid to speak for yourself on how you want your braids and if you need a break.Service: Hairstyling
