If I could give zero stars I would. And how yall gunna charge us to pay our bills. 1.00 fee to pay online. If you call its 2.95 to pay automated and if you talk with an agent to pay its 9.00 fee. What the hell.

We got a way better deal from Astound than we had with Spectrum. We couldn’t be happier with our switch and the internet is blazing fast. Our installer, Tristan J., was a rock star who made sure everything was perfect before he left. He is what an internet company should want in an installer. I can’t say enough great things about Astound. We are so glad we made the switch.

Signal has been rough from the start. I was told at the start of my contact with them that I’d get a free router (they didn’t tell me it was only free for a year). After I found out I’d been paying for it for 2 years I asked for a refund and they only gave me a $50 credit (I’ve paid a few hundred for it collectively). While investigating these charges I found it not only was my sound bar also being charged to my account (a sound bar I was also told was free) but it wasn’t even free for a single month since I’ve had astound/grande. They’re thinking a $50 credit will suffice but I’ve paid close to $500 for a sound bar that’s not even worth that much and now they’re saying I don’t get to keep it and might get another $50 credit. Still working something out so I’ll keep you guys updated but I have the texts from the sales rep to prove everything I’m saying. Horrible service and terrible accountability of their reps’ promises. Sent these texts to them and it’s been about 2 weeks and they’re saying they’ll “get back to me”. Obviously they don’t want to lose money as a company but they better stand by what they say. So done with these guys.

Have been dealing with unreliable internet for 4 months. Drops connection every 30 seconds, streams buffer every 30 seconds on tv’s, computers and phones, games lag and robot voices on discord and teams. We had a new line and equipment installed at the house hoping it would fix it but the problem persists. “The problem can’t be seen on our end” - astound. Yet my other property in the same neighborhood has the same problem and drops connection at the same time. In the picture attached, 3 different servers are being pinged, timed out connection means connection lost. THIS IS CONSTANTLY HAPPENING THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I’m paying $97 for 1gig and went shopping for other ISP’s and found out astounds 1gig plan starts at $45… so I’m being charged double for some reason… can’t work from home, can’t use basic internet for relaxing at home and overpaying for bad internet. DO NOT CHOOSE ASTOUND FOR INTERNET.

The prices are too high for anything other than internet. The technical support people can not assist you but make you do your own troubleshooting. Then charge you to send out a technician.

Can't recommend this company enough! We've used Astound for years and they best internet company we've ever used! Upload and download speeds are fast. There was very rarely any equipment/technical issues and when there was, it was taken care of quickly. Customer service folks are also very friendly and helpful. Sadly, they don't provide service in the area we just moved to, so we had to cancel our account. I'm really not looking forward to dealing with a different company, but it is what it is.

I cancelled within 3 days and they never documented it. I noted the Wi-Fi was disconnected 5 mins after my call. I went back to spectrum for more competitive rate and didn’t worry about it for awhile. I ended up owed them three months and was documented as nonpayment cancellation. I called to ask if they can track the signals 3 days after my signup . It may be impossible to do that but The customer services talked down on me in passive aggressive insulting way.If you do the same, please document your call and ask for agent name and number . And follow up.

Let's hear it for astound in Waco Texas, I have internet through astound and Im a part of the discounted internet, Affordable Internet, my router went out so I bought one of or over 200.00 and astound employees told me if I used the router I bought I would no longer be able to get low cost internet I Had to rent there router .. so everyone put there hands together for Waco Astound, The biggest bunch of crooks I know thank you all, Robert Adkins

Switched to Astound, local Waco area people been real good (installation, etc.) But if you call the 800 number dont expect to be respected, a guy called me an idiot- yes he called me an idiot, funny things i believe he was lost and not very smart, but he still has the guts to called me an idiot. Totally unprofessiobal, disrecpectful- i never got this treatment fromSpectrum. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he ended up hanging up on me. I called back and i was told all supervisor were busy. I have emailed the CEO ( Holanda), let see what happens. As for now Astound rate as terrible when it comes to the 800 number. Today -11/16/23- this girl name Chelsea ( Waco area)called and she was so nice and professional and she addressed the issues i had.

Astound!For when you want to pay AT&T prices for Coax DSL level downloads and uploads.Signed up for Astound thinking I was going to save money and get comparable speeds as my AT&T fiber. Only for the install guy to come and try to convince me that COAX was better and that I really didn’t need 2GB Up and Down for my server and Smart Home. Yeah no, I told him to leave and called Astound back to cancel everything. Too bad they ran my credit report and dinged me. I’ll happily stay with my Fiber connection and tell Astound’s max of 30MB upload speed to F off.

This company used to be fine, but I returned their modem in 2018 to save on equipment fees. It seems like a great thing at the time. We started saving money every month, not having their modem, and we were able to buy some thing that was nicer and faster. The problem comes in that after we canceled service, we were charged $60 for a modem we don't have. Lesson learned I guess, I should've held onto a receipt for six years, But I'm incredibly frustrated, and I don't trust this company at all. Get your internet from somewhere else.
