Be careful ordering anything other than the white plates. I have the white plates and enjoy them. To add to my dishes, I ordered gray. The disclaimer said there might be color variation. I assumed that would mean one plate might vary slightly in color compared to another or the plate might have variations of gray in it. I had no idea the plates would have large drip marks on the front and back. The company is unwilling to refund my money or exchange my plates.

Very unhappy with their product and customer service. I own a set of their white plates. I ordered a set of gray to complement them. As you can see, their products are not cheap. Their disclaimer said there may be variations of color. I expected that to mean one plate may vary slightly from the other or there might be variations of the color within the plate. I never imagined it would be large drip spots down the front and back of the plates. The owners refuse to refund my money or replace my items. They claim my plates are the variation they talked about. Judge for yourself.

I ordered custom dishes with our family name in the white glaze. I added the newly created ramen bowls to my order without family stamp. There's a wait time for custom pieces but it is worth it. The pieces are beautiful. I also like to collect mugs, vases, and a pitcher that came available by this studio at the Magnolia Market. Gather/Black Oak Art create and offer high quality premium products that are artisan made- well worth your hard earned dollar and time.

I really enjoy visiting this shop, which is full of interesting houseware items, including pottery, things for a bar/drinking, glassware, kitchen items, cookbooks, and a potpourri of fun things that are unique for the home. Great place to pick up a gift in my opinion. The person running the register is always cheery and enthusiastic about the inventory. This place just has a good feel to it. Definitely worth dropping in when you are visiting from out of town, or in the downtown area.

This is a great place for unique pottery serving pieces, barware, and gifts. Ive purchased several artisan Waco made pottery pieces from Gather. Id be a regular customer if i lived in Waco.

Absolutely horrible. I ordered custom dishes on June 10,2018. It now late February and the set is still not complete. They have sent defective pieces that didn't pass their own quality control. How do I know? There are labels on the items stating as much! It was suppose to take 120 days at most and now it's been almost 240 days. Best part? They took over $1200 from me in June and basically won't respond to emails, phone calls etc. when Sarah first responded she blamed it on being a new company. What kind of company new or old doesn't know they can't fulfill an order for over 8 months and takes your money. Luckily for me I used a credit card and they've backed the charge out. I will return the items I have when I pass through Waco on Feb 2,2019. I didn't use them waiting for all the dishes to arrive. They are still in their original packaging. The personal stamp mark they used is faded out on several pieces. I have flat platter type plates and I think 3 that are usable. This place is just HORRIBLE!! DO NOT buy from these people. They keep your money and send substandard work they acknowledge is substandard yet they don't correct it.

Love all of the hand thrown pottery. Each piece is unique and individual. I also love that you can get custom pottery with your family name stamped into each piece.

I ordered a personalized bowl for my daughter for her wedding. I was so very disappointed that it didn’t make it for the wedding. I ordered it months ahead of time!!! However, it was well worth the wait. They loved it and I hope to add to the collection. Thank you Gather Waco!
