Enjoyed a wonderful tour and delicious floats. The historical videos were interesting, too.

Although the scale is not large, in a short period of time (about an hour...??), you can see the history and evolution of Dr. Pepper, briefly see information on events related to each country, and even experience making the drink. There is an admission fee, and the goods shop has t-shirts and simple souvenirs... There doesn't seem to be anything special other than the Dr. Pepper Museum near Idongne, and if you're passing by, it might be a good idea to stop by for a quick rest.

Decided to make this pit stop on the way to Dallas from Austin. We didn't realize how much time would actually be needed before getting to our appointment time for taste a soda experience and were about 5-10 minutes late. They told us to text a number. Didn't get a response for a good while... And couldn't get us in for the day. Too late for a refund. ? I wish and hope that they have a line available specifically for people who already have reservations. The line was quite long just to get an admission ticket and many weren't even doing the experiences. So, knowing that, I recommend coming at least 30 maybe 45 minutes before your experience during busy times and hours to get your admissions ticket before your reserved time. Other than missing out on our paid experience we enjoyed the museum and exhibits! Got a few items from the gift shop but had to skip out on the free soda because the line was so long. (We had to leave to make it on time to Dallas).

This museum contains information about the bottling process, the soda bottles themselves, and some Waco history.
If I were you, I would save the $12 museum fee and visit the attached gift shop and then go next door and get a Dr. Pepper/Blue Bell ice cream float.
That was the best part, and it would be free...unless you buy gifts or the float.

I loved it here. It was very fun and informative. They had a cool "make your own soda" activity as well.
Overall, it was a lovely time. Getting to learn some history. I'm getting to see how it all began. And most importantly, bring someone with you, it's more fun with others!

As a longtime Dr. Pepper enthusiast, I am very sad to see the intellectual property used like this. Not only was the museum old and understaffed, the bathrooms were very dirty. This museum is a discrace to the Dr. Pepper community. I hope that this museum will be renovated.

I loved the museum. The gift shop was extremely price gouging! The socks were 21 dollars, a T-shirt was 40 dollars… everything over priced in my opinion. The lab was good. I learned something ….
Only received a small Dr Pepper at the end as part of our ticket.
Someone had peed on the bathroom floor! Yikes…
I’m not sure I would return. Mixed feeling and it was a long drive.

This museum is quite interesting and educational. I highly recommend trying the "build your own soda" activity, which is both enjoyable and rewarding. Ticket purchase comes with a complimentary beverage. However, the line for this activity was excessively long when we finished our class, with some customers reporting a 15-minute wait. We opted to visit the gift shop and purchase some souvenirs instead.
If you ever find yourself in Waco, I strongly suggest visiting this museum at least once. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

Great experience but I remembered going at another time during the winter and that was even better for a hot Dr Pepper. You got to try that!

Online Price states $10 Per person, Actually $12. Only get a Small complimentary drink made in a Haphazard manner by the Soda crew who are rushing to get the drinks out and not measuring the ratios of Soda water to syrup, Leading to Bland or straight up awful drinks. Even the Float was disappointing as I got a half full cup of foam more than a float.

I have been a lifelong drinker of Dr Pepper and when I was in elementary school even got to tour a bottling plant near my hometown in AR. Seeing where it started was amazing. The museum isn’t too large or overwhelming and I absolutely loved the international section that not only did they have the products, but they had ads and videos for it. Loved my time here!
I also appreciated the fact that my admittance with the wristband was good for all day. I could have left and came back and not be required to pay a 2nd entry fee!
And OMG the drink fountain?!? I did not do the float, but I am a sucker for Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper and theirs? I swear it’s like I was in heaven. No joke, no exaggeration! Sonic will never be the same for me now.
The one downside though was the pricing of the gift shop. I do feel some of the products were a bit high, so I did not buy all I wanted to. But the products were nice and seemed to be of good quality.
Overall, this is somewhere I would visit each time I was in the area.

Some interesting information but not worth the $12 basic entry fee. The extras are definitely not worth an addition $10. On top of this, they ask if customers would like to give a donation on top of the cost of entry because they are a non-profit.
