Woke me up to collect some fee. Our sleep is very important. Had to get up, go inside and pay. Made sure not to eat or drink anything, as I usually do. Truck stops which don't respect our sleep, don't get our business.

The Great Truck Stop Scam: Turning Rest into a Revenue Stream
About 5 years ago, you could count on pulling into a Pilot, Loves, or TA and finding a free place to park your rig after 11 hours of hauling America’s freight. You know—basic human decency. But now? These chains are turning 70–80% of their lots into PAID PARKING ZONES like they’re selling front-row seats at a concert.
This isn’t innovation—it’s pure greed wrapped in a fancy app and called “premium.” Charging tired truckers—many of whom barely clear $1.50/mile after fuel and expenses—to rest is shameless. You’re not offering luxury valet service here. It’s still pothole-ridden asphalt, often with no security, no working showers, and trash bins that look like they’ve survived a tornado.
Let’s be clear: this didn’t happen because truckers demanded it. It happened because these chains realized they could bleed drivers for one more dollar—after already cashing in on overpriced fuel, mediocre food, and $30 shower tokens.
It’s bad enough that we have a nationwide truck parking shortage—now the little that exists is being monetized like beachfront property. Truck stops were supposed to be a safe haven. Now they’re becoming toll booths for exhaustion.
To Pilot, Loves, and all the copycats: maybe instead of pretending to support drivers during “Driver Appreciation Week,” you could actually appreciate us year-round by not turning parking into a profit center.
Keep this up, and drivers will start parking on your fuel islands just to spite your greed. You earned that karma.

4 EV stations are hidden in the back. 1B might not be working. 2B worked fine with my Ford, but the charge estimate is off and will take another 10 minutes or so than what it says. But there's a Subway here while you wait and nice outdoor patio nobody uses. Honestly, just happy they have EV chargers at all at this point in time.

Pilot Flying J is a multi million dollar company if not billion I don’t understand why they can’t provide new shower heads they’re not expensive I shouldn’t have to shower with rust and mildew, and the clerks don’t clean the showers properly why is the last person booty towel still in the shower 😒 I was so disappointed in this establishment

3 strikes and you're out. Just left without purchasing anything for the 3rd time in a row. Always a single cashier during peak hours. If you have 20 minutes to wait in a line, this is your place.

It just happen to us 05/02/25 12:39 pm .I am straight: female and was about to use restroom me and my 4 years old daughter when we entered to women’s restroom and a strong male voice came out of 1 of the restrooms so I felt so disgusting, not agree and horrible we didn’t use the restroom and immediately told the workers and they said it was the big male wearing female clothes …

Waited over an hour on a shower and still 5th in line no one is bothering to clean the showers. Waste of time!!! I will take my tip and shower somewhere else.

All y'all drivers out there this place has some serious issues the only thing this place has is good cashiers very sweet but there showers and food sucks showers there plugged with hair not draining literally standing in 3-4 inches of water who wants to stand in nasty stinky water definitely not me and my wife taking a shower head comes off hits her right in the face I will never come here even if it's the last place on earth unless they change
