13788 US-77 #145, VictoriaWe have been to all the vets in Port Lavaca with our (3) labs and (2) Jack Russells. We were lucky enough to find out about LoneStar Animal Hospital in Victoria. All the vets are absolutely wonderful. Our vet is Dr Hayley Daniels. She is so gentle and sweet and absolutely loves her patients. They are a hospital as well as a vet office, so they are fully equipped for emergencies. We had to put down 2 of our dogs and they were so kind and compassionate. I cannot say enough about Dr Zepplin and her team. The staff is absolutely wonderful as well. Please give them the opportunity to care for your pet. You will be glad you did.

3804 Houston Hwy, VictoriaWhen my sweet Congo a jack russell terrier changed due to an orthopedic problem, he went from a vibrant hyper self to a painfully sedentary and unable to play dog. We had four different veterinary opinions and different professional views, x-rays, and testing. The last vet told us to go to Nexus to discern the mystery of his injury. Dr Brian Beale in Nexus- Victoria was excellent, not only he was sweet with his patient, but was thorough and a true professional. His office staff were great, friendly, quick, and fast on booking and performing duties. Dr Beale correctly diagnosed and performed my Congo's surgery delivering quality of care. God bless his hands. He did the most beautiful job (TPLO) on my dog's knee arthroscopically. He is a highly trained, passionate, innovator, and an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I will be forever grateful to him. I was worried about the recovery, but I have not seen a dog recovered from surgery as quickly and easily as Congo. He was free of pain in a matter of two days and is now his crazy, vibrant, sweet, and full of energy self.

You are traveling at 75, and around the bend you spot the big black and white pig, you pretty much had to stand on your brakes to make it into the driveway. If you had anybody following you, or if you are not in the right lane, good luck to you.
The girl at the counter is friendly and accommodating, but on the day we visited, they only had brisket and sausage, and some lemonade left. Also of note, you are dining outside, albeit in the shade. But the tables and chairs were quite dirty, and then we were visited by some persistent flies. So we kinda hurried through our meal and ran outta there.
Now let's talk about that brisket sandwich. The meat was tender and full of a nice smokey flavor. I just wished it was slightly more salty, or maybe I should have asked for more bbq sauce.
I do suggest you do a take out, and deliberately run slow as you make your approach to the restaurant.

Edit- 2nd time eating here. Snow crab was still the best I have had! The flavor is spot on! Boudin balls were perfect! The waitresses took very good care of just as the last time we were here! Look forward to eating here on our next trick through! ❤️

309 E Crestwood Dr, VictoriaCome here when visiting our daughter and her husband. They met here so they Had their wedding reception party here. We reserved the outside back area. We brought in our own decorations and table cloths. We ordered finger food from the kitchen and had an open bar for a couple domestic beers and a signature cocktail. We had our own bar tender. Guest were able to order at their expense any other beverage from the bar or food off the menu. We hooked our play list to their sound system.
Guest were able to use the restrooms inside or there were 2 port-a- potties .
In the summer they have live music. The food has always been good.
The only thing I haven't been that impressed with is how much they have turned the bar into a kids place and less a place for adults to come hang out.
You xan bring your well behaved dogs. Just please pick up after your dog!!! I stepped in a big pile of dog poop when we were ther decorating for the wedding party. Yuck!!!
